I did watch these movies like 4 years ago but watching it again now that I've gone so far in life really hits differently also, tell me why those three movies brought me to tears and why all four siblings + Prince Caspian is rlly rlly pretty / hot Thoughts on: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - ok Edmund did low-key kinda pmo during this movie cuz wdym you sold out Mr. Tumnus and your family for a couple of Turkish Delights (ok, ik it was like "oh but the witch enchanted them" blah blah blah, it's a joke- kinda-) - I did really like the ending scene, especially when they were riding on their horses and they stumbled across that lamp Thoughts on: Prince Caspian - I think it was a parallel, in the first scene and the duel scene. when Peter was fighting the boys at the train station and when he was fighting Caspian's uncle - bro, edmund's trauma on the white witch ToT - Ok but like Lucy literally carried the whole show imo because she believed in Aslan Thoughts on: Voyage of the Dawn Treader - Eustace got such a character arc and I'm glad about it - his last line where he's like (paraphrasing) "we talked about Narnia a lot in the days to follow and after the war my cousins left. I really miss them a lot" or smth like that - UGHHH HES SO SWEET AND PRECIOUS NOW - when Reepicheep (I'm so sure I spelled that wrong-) decides to go to Aslan's kingdom and he looks back I lowkey started tearing up - I didn't really get the point of the swords bit or what it did- maybe I'm just slow - I also don't rlly get Lucy's jealousy towards Susan (ok I do-) but the thing is she's equally as beautiful - but I really liked the scene when Lucy takes the book page from the incantations book as well as the scene where Aslan tells her that without her, her siblings wouldn't have discovered Narnia overall thoughts: - the costume design? amazing - the set and the little gimmicks and such, outstanding - acting? sublime - 9.5/10
there are def more thoughts I want to add but I have this tradition where when I finish a series/movie, if I really really really liked it and it's starting to become an unhealthy obsession, I write a summary / my thoughts on it + I make either an OC or I make an AU ToT I'm sorry- Next watch: The Matrix [if I can get it to load] or Obsession 9.20.26 11:21pm
