NEW STORY YAYYYYY well somewhat new i had the characters and lore made but i didnt really like the designs and didnt do a lot with it you know so this is a new and improved ver the best way id describe it is like if Life Is Strange and Sally Face had a child, the main group are all very talented and smart individuals their like literal genius, honor class, collage scholarship type smart and they all get sent off to Chicago to undergo real detective/police training and work for like the equivalent of a school year but uhh in the middle of their first week they get a serial murder case is on going and they need all hands on deck including them little while later they find out OH SHI GHOSTS ARE REAL AND WE CAN COMMUNICATE TO THE VICTIMS but in my universe ghosts memory are very iffy when it comes to their own deaths so they still gotta do actual police work for this shi NOW LETS LOCK IN TO THE MEAT AND POTATOES/CHARACTER LORE also their all gay (alex make a straight oc challenge 3 2 1 GO!) i mean not all of them but the main group CODYBUG!!!!: Grew up with a surprisingly amazing family(he's the only one who did) both his parents are alive and present and NOT abusive, hes a papa’s boy him and his dad are basically best friends and he has a little sister (12 years old) and for any of my goats you’ll realise that his last name is very familiar because he’s cousins with Tobias/Tj (yes both of these stories are in the same universe just different years TFHA is in 2009 but this takes place in 2013) he got invited into the program his family made him a whole celebration with a huge dinner and cake Seth: Seth's life was perfect he had amazing parents an amazing grandma that he was super close with until his grandma got sick and eventually died her death took a hard toll on him and a little after his parents got divorced he couldn't live with anything anymore he got in a super depressive state until he started abusing his anxiety meds, smoking, sneaking out at night, getting in to school fights and even getting in legal trouble he felt better, he got the attention from his parents he wanted but they always thought that they did something, that they failed him Seth just wanted to be disciplined he wanted his parents to do something to him like hitting him but like always it was about them and not him a little after he got invited to the program and took the offer just to get away from his parents and sort his own problems out Lili Tóth(my little angel) She lives in a very strict household no matter what she has to be good at everything she has to have good grades, good attendants good everything their like Kira’s parents just not rlly as bad (they actually take their child's mental state into consideration and DON'T physically abuse them) and livable with when Kira’s parents are evil. Her parents are still very supportive and love her when she got invited into the program they were ecstatic for her
Dara Park: After their dads death from a work freak accident their mother couldn't live with the grief she became an alcoholic, she was always at a bars never came home on most nights which led them to having to take care of their younger siblings their mom would come back in the morning either asleep for the whole day or doing nothing but apologizing when they got invited into the program they got into an argument with their mom about how she have to be there for her kids when they need them and when they themself can't be there and their mother accepted the fact that she has to change for her kids Zhao Sǐ: Zhao isn't a part of the program, he's the son of the lead homicide detective/the guy that's running the program just so you know. when he was 5 his parents got divorced his mothers underlining mental health problems got worse and her psychosis was very untreated due to her refusing to take her meds as she slowly developed Capgras syndrome with him(who was only like 7 at the time) after a while she couldn't take it and tried to kill him she got taken away to get treatment and he got put into his dads cusody since his dad is usually busy with work he’s never home enough and doesn't have the time to give his son enough attention which in his teens caused him to constantly get into fights or hang out with dangerous people just to get into legal trouble to get attention from his dad, his dad honestly got so sick of it that would make him spend the entire day just at the police department and a little after the program started he went to seth and basically said”I know that your a troubled kid so i need your help, my son is your age and is going down a really bad path i really want you to be his friend and help get his life on track i’ll give you 300 a week PLEASE!” and Seth was not about to turn that offer down and they actually became really good friends until seth turns gay for him and as you can see on his thingy thats somewhat of a big no no for him and uhh lowk calls him the f slur and says he should kill himself so seth beats his ahh and they ghost each other until zhao realises “OH NO IM GAY FOR SETH” and i wont tell you the rest AAAAAAAAAAAA I'm so tired schools been beating my ahh but hey I got my homecoming dance on saturday so that's gonna be fun I was gonna add Zhao's dad/ the head detective but I got tired and never drew him but he's a cool guy and a good dad also I know that some of the music I put is not time accurate so if it is than that just means that they would listen to them in the modern day or that they listen to something similar
