Hello friends! It is Bugg here, and I wanted to talk about what daily life should look like, in my opinion, as a Christian Therian. Firstly, I think you should do at least one thing to express your Therian side every day. I suck at this myself, I will admit, and most days I go along as though I am not a Therian at all, because worldly things get in the way. But honestly, doing just one thing to embrace my animal side makes me so much happier, more euphoric, and more connected to God. My Therianthropy is mental, and caused partly by imprinting, partly by trauma, and partly because God made me this way. Due to all these factors, this part of my identity is very rooted in Christ, so doing something for my animal side feels like doing something for God as well. And it doesn't have to be something huge--doing quads for 5 minutes, wearing a tail, trying to trigger a shift, or even just focusing on senses, going on a short walk outside, or listening to the right kind of music works so well for me. It makes me so much happier and euphoric, and I think being happy is extremely important. I would also recommend...doing normal Christian things! Read your Bible. Find verses that you can relate to in terms of your Therianthropy. And remember, thank the Lord for your animal side! He has given such a gift to you freely and it is *beautiful*, rejoice in him when rejoicing in your animal side. When you are in nature, *thank him for it*. Truthfully, I view nature as one of God's greatest gifts to us, behind him dying on the cross to forgive our sins and giving us life in the first place. In some ways, to me, nature and God are nearly indistinguishable; I often feel much holier and closer to the father in the forest than in church. Meditating is also something I would recommend, as you can meditate on Bible verses, but also practice trying to get in touch with your animal side. I've heard meditation can make shifts more trigger able, likely, or easy to control (but who knows--that's just what I've heard). Spending time with others like you is also a great thing to do! Of course it is important to expand your horizons, take in new opinions meet new people and broaden your understanding of the human condition, but spending time with those who share your views can strengthen your worldview and relationship with God. Even though you can't stay in your bubble forever, it is good to make a small bubble of like-minded people to take refuge in, where you can just be you and they are OK with it. And finally, acknowledge you are human! Even though you do have an animal side, your soul is human and you will go to heaven with the Lord. Do not forsake the gift of humanity because you too much embrace the gift of your animal side! It is important to recognize and celebrate your animal side, but even more important to also recognize that you were created in God's own likeness and are his child who will live eternally alongside him. I hope this helps! If anyone has any suggestions for the next episode, please do tell me!
