( TW: death ) A light ocean breeze travels through the island, a few clouds float lazily in the sky. The island is quiet. Silent, even, as if nothing's there. But hidden away from sight is a clan, known by its members, called WaveClan. ⋆｡ ˚ ˚｡⋆ WaveClan, though it has the suffix of -clan like any other clan, is quite different from the other clans you've heard about. Starclan, what once blessed leaders with nine lives and talked to medicine cats every half-moon, has slowly faded over thousands of moons until it was little more than a fairytale told to kittens. Although WaveClan still keeps the ranks of warriors, medicine cats, apprentices, leaders, and deputies, the code has changed over time. Now, survival is most important of all. . . . . . . . . . . . Welcome to the interest project! Waveclan has been the only clan on the island for thousands of moons. In those moons, many things have changed. Starclan and the Dark Forest are just fairytales now, far from what they once were. The Warrior Code has changed almost completely to help WaveClan survive. ⋆｡ ˚ ˚｡⋆ In order to make this roleplay more realistic, there are a few important features. Maybe you've seen some roleplays where you can only join via litters. This roleplay will work similarly, except a roleplayer can't choose their own character. Everyone who wishes to join will remix an application project, and in the remix they'll fill out the form. Once the application is complete, litter hosts will look through the applications and choose a roleplayer for each kitten. As in most roleplays, every character will age up one moon(a month) in the roleplay every Friday. Each cat eats different amounts of prey, depending on age. Adult (12+ moons): 2 peices of prey/moon Apprentices (6-12 moons): 1 peice of prey/moon Kits (3-6 moons): 0.5 peices of prey/moon As for herbs, it works differently. Supply of each herb will be tracked, and different herbs will be taken to treat specific injuries/illnesses. For instance, catmint is used to treat greencough. If there's no catmint, it cannot be used until someone gathers some. But survival of a character depends on the clan's supply of food and herbs, as well as how well the clan is protected. Even if the clan is well protected and has a good supply of everything, not every cat may survive... For many moons, Waveclan has been sacrificing its kits to The Sea every half moon, to keep the sea from causing disasters. For every ten cats in the clan, one kitten is lost to the sea and never seen again... The Clan will also have to compete with predators that also inhabit the island, as well as survive bad weather, disease, disasters, etc. So.. will the clan survive..?
