Welcome to the 2026 Northern Hemisphere Cyclone Tracker. Code System: I will have a variety of codes that'll denote the level of danger/severity currently present in the basin. The different codes are listed below. All Clear - No tropical systems or disturbances exist at the moment and are not forecast form for some time. Code Green - A tropical system or disturbance is active that poses no threat to land. Code Yellow - A tropical system or disturbance is active that poses a minimal threat to land. Code Orange - A tropical system or disturbance is active that poses a considerable threat to land. Code Red - A tropical system or disturbance is active that poses a significant threat to land. Code Crimson - A tropical system or disturbance is active that poses an extreme threat to landmasses. Catastrophic damage is expected.
