}[]{ The Actual Battle }[]{ In the far-out territories of Auvued, a duel between two ships occurs. They are both gunboats of the same type, owned by rival (minor) warlords competing for the little scraps of material in those forsaken regions. }[]{ The Outer Reaches }[]{ The outer reaches of Auvued comprise the furthest-out, uninhabitable dwarf planets and asteroids, the colonies set up on them and various space stations. Theyre the wild west of Auvued, the major warlords tend to stay out due to the lack of interest in the region, leaving minor warlords and other factions to exist and fight among themselves. This barrier of minor factions provides a first line of defence for Kefeon's major warlords and is also a major part of the reason expansion has stagnated, as the local warlords have an unfortunate habit of forming temporary united fronts whenever one of the major warlords (or even a high lord) tries to push past them to expand the nation. [}{] The Ke'Fron [}{] The Ke'Fron are an.. odd group by Auvued standards. whilst some would consider them a coalition of warlords this doesn't really fit as, while there are small chunks of territory loyal to the Ke'Fron across the expanse and some are, in fairness, ruled by figures comparable to warlords, most of the Ke'Fron-controlled areas are either governed by a local governor put in charge by the central command or by an elected governor who swears loyalty to the group. The ultimate goal of the Ke'Fron is to reform Auvued into a stabile country, preferably a democratic one. They have accomplished much since their founding but are still far, far away from their goals [}{] Brief History (Of the Ke'Fron) [}{] The Ke'Fron trace their origin to the old government of Auvued, prior to the collapse into the current warlord era. Though brief, a democratic state formed and lead the initial expansion and colonisation of the current star systems marked on the map as claimed by Auvued, this state, the First Auvued Republic, is widely recognised as the golden age (or as close as it gets) for Auvued. The Government fled into exile in the mid reaches after the coup that began the warlord era and managed to briefly establish a provisional government before three crushing defeats against warlords brought down most of the armies of the Provisional Government of Auvued and sent what was left into hiding in various space stations and colonies on small solar system objects, where they would remain scattered for a few years before a warlord in the outer reaches discovered and decided to swear loyalty to a large group of former ProvGov forces, who would go on to secure several holdings in the outer reaches and send much aid to the other former provisional government outposts who would then themselves either rise up or remain hidden but better protected. This web of former Provisional Government strongholds would evolve into the modern day Ke'Fron.
