日本語は下↓ The Collatz conjecture posits that for any positive integer, if you repeatedly apply the operations "divide by 2 if even" and "multiply by 3 and add 1 if odd," you will eventually always reach 1, regardless of the starting number. I created this tool to test the claim after reading about it in a book. It turned out to be quite interesting, so please give it a try. As far as Scratch's limits allow, the system is designed to handle even very large numbers. However, entering a large number might cause it to display in "e+" notation. I tried to fix this, but mysterious bugs—such as the value becoming garbled when repeatedly multiplying 1.001 by ten—prevented me from doing so (likely due to how binary arithmetic works).
Just a heads-up: it has to be a positive integer! Don't go entering negative numbers or decimals by mistake! And naturally, full-width characters won't work. By the way, this is just a conjecture; it hasn't been proven yet. (Apparently, you get 100 million yen if you solve it.)
