Chapter 4: Small Comforts I stared off into the warm glow of our campfire, thinking about everything that had happened. It was a day after the Great Deku Tree died and me and Zelda left the forest, and we had stopped to set up camp for the night. That day's events had flew by, but I remembered Zelda asking me if I had remembered anything else. Zelda didn't, and neither did I. I reached into my bag and pulled out an instrument that was another gift from the Koroks. An Ocarina. The Koroks had called it a "Fairy Ocarina", and it was light brown with a green mouthpiece. I started to play a soft tune they had taught me--Saria's Song. The Koroks had evolved from a race known as the Kokiri, and the song was named after the famous- (I'd later learned she was only famous to the Koroks)- Kokiri sage, Saria. As I played it, I thought about the forest. It was a small comfort to soothe me. Zelda joined me next to the fire. "That's a lovely song." She said, smiling cutely. I couldn't help but smile. "Thanks. I said. Makar taught it to me." I sighed. "I know you don't believe it, but I know you're a hero." Zelda said. "And deep down, I know you want to believe it, too. Just watching you gave me a hint of memories. I can't remember exactly, but I know you saved me time after time." "And you're sure that was me?" I asked, wanting it to be true. Zelda smiled. "I know it was." she said, kissing my cheek. I blushed and Zelda laughed. "W-What?" I asked. "I guess you don't remember everything." Zelda said, something hitting me. I had been and still was in love with the princess.
I hope you like it!!! (Sorry this chapter was a bit short!) Chapter 5: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1385724587
