Origins and the Cataclysm Flins was originally a noble Fae lord and member of the royal court during the reign of the first Cryo Archon (the Belyar/Tsar).He witnessed the transfer of power to the Tsarita after the fall of the original Tsar.Disillusioned and burdened by the devastation of the Cataclysm 500 years ago, he chose self-imposed exile on a northern isle.He carved his own headstone, transformed into an azure flame, and sank into a centuries-long, death-like slumber to end his suffering. Awakening and the Lightkeepers Flins was awakened centuries later when a dying soldier fighting the Wild Hunt prayed and drew a Fae symbol on his gravestone.He emerged to vanquish the Wild Hunt, though he could not prevent all casualties.He buried the fallen soldiers, creating the Final Night Cemetery, and joined the local Ratniki (Lightkeepers) as a way to watch over the dead and experience human life.Unlike humans, he does not eat physical food; instead, offerings are used to fuel the azure flame inside his lantern—which houses a fragment of Rir's heart.
