Hey cloudes! It's skyye, with my very first record spinning project. I love how the album disk came out, I had to do quite a bit of editing to get there, and yes, that is a knockoff lego flower, but we listen and we don't judge. the songs: -exile This song is about my friends banishing me from their social circles, and my comparison to being exiled from a dystopian city in one of my stories. But in the end, I realized being exiled isn't such a bad thing after all. -pyrite i surprisingly finished recording + writing this one in only a few short hours, which is really impressive for my lazy self to not have sat there waiting for somebody to come fix my computer or for the motivation to record and actually do it right away lol (that was a long sentence) anyway, this song is up for interpretation. hopefully you can find a way to relate <333 -to spare (happy = happy) I would call this song a people pleasers anthem, and I wrote it for my friend who would and has sacrificed her own happiness to please others. This is a bit extreme, and the harmonies are a bit... excessive (I like my harmonies excessive) but I'm still really proud of it! As to the excessive harmonies, I realized that this song is more of a duet between the two voices in someone's head, the irrational and rational sides of them. It is a bit much! But it feels like my brain sometimes in that way. It is kinda loud though. Be warned about that. enjoy! <333 luv, skyye
