How I gave my life to Jesus I have gone to church all my life. I'm a pastor's kid, lol. I liked going to church, and I was baptized as a baby, but I guess I never really felt close or connected to God. By the time I was 9, I didn't even act like a Christian anymore. I was kind of mean and I swore and used God's name in vain. I wouldn't say I was super sinful, but I did sin and I was not proud of my actions afterwards. That is, until about a year or so ago. I started praying more that once a day. I prayed and spent more time reading the Bible and actually paying attention in church. A year after, I'm practicaly unrecognizable. I mean, I looked the same, but I was happier and kinder and more patient. I learned to let things go, and how to actually forgive people. It's still hard sometimes, but now I'm not a lukewarm Christian. I trust in God all the time! At Christian Summer overnight camp in 2026, I gave my life to Jesus during the evening service at the Tabernacle. It was amazing. I truly felt God, more than I ever had before. A song, called I Believe was playing and I only heared it once or twice, but somehow I know every word. By the end of the song I was sobbing with my hands in the air and my whole cabin (except my besties, odvi) was staring at me but I lowkey didn't care. Now I'm gonna get baptized again!!!! Yayy!! I mean, it's not official, but I know I will. So, Yay!!! Anyways, thanks for reading!! God is good!!! ~ ChildOfGod_ll <3
