I realized the forest scene was a little boring, so I decided to add the moon hanging over it, and as for the egg scene, it felt kind of like a memory, so I merely kept the sketch version instead of redrawing it entirely - and I think it looks much better this way! UPDATE 10/11: ALMOST DONE! Just have two more still scenes to go - most likely done later today! Combined the two because it was easier for flow and such, hope you like it so far! Only reason I took so long to post this was because I wanted all sketches for both parts done first :'D Why is the background on that one frame all pixelly >:( It was supposed to be a SUBTLE pixelation to make the background look good, not as obvious as there is a sun in the sky! But oh well \('-')/ I like this animation and I like animating birds, so here! Lore summary: Fernii, my OC, hatched alone, and extremely late. By the time he finally got out of the egg, his father had given up all hope, whispered his goodbyes to a chick he thought would never be, and flown away. However, just a few hours later, Fernii hatched. A group of flycatchers found him and raised him, and that's how come he's so acrobatic today! This scene shows first the father flying across a lake and through a forest, a view of the yet-unhatched Fernii, and then Fernii as an adult, finally realizing what had happened. Then the sun sets, screen goes dark, and- cut.
