Don’t read if you don’t like deep issues or political stuff! I can’t help it growing up with a journalist for a father and literature student for a mother, it’s in my nature atp. I’m not going to tell you you’re not allowed to read this, but consider this your warning :) Again, I would recommend you don’t go through this if you are (somehow) an adamant supporter of a terrorist state colonising another under the name of religion and/or you don’t like political issues! If anyone tells me ANYTHING about indoctrinating kids I will shove your foot down your throat okay if it is considered bias I don’t like colonisers ok buddy get a life <3 This is like the third time I’ve done this loll Recently we have been seeing a lot of celebrities come out over the issue of Palestine/Israel after Macklemore was taken off Ed Sheeran’s tour due to saying “free Palestine”. I haven’t been following the issue (if I was this would be a whole lot longer) but I do understand the basics of this. Macklemore, Ed Sheeran’s long-term friend was on tour with him, said something along the lines of free Palestine in one show, and the Zio billionaire who owned the next stadium the two would perform at told Ed that either they didn’t perform in his stadium or Macklemore was removed from the tour. Ed went with the latter option. This tells us quite a lot about how Ed sees this issue, who’s been doing fence sitting for a while. (I’m tired of typing out Macklemore so we’ll just call him Mac) After Mac said the thing, the singer Pink, who supports every cause except this one, said it was an extremely anti-Semitic thing to do. Yeah. Saying “don’t hurt kids! Civilians don’t deserve bombs!” is apparently ani-Semitic. Okay. After getting a lot of backlash for saying that, she said, “oh! I wasn’t talking about that. I was talking about the Mac incident of 2014!!” Which was just Mac with a witch nose and a wig. Which some people did call out for looking like a comical depiction of a stereotype Jewish person, but he did explain he just wore a witch nose and a random wig, with a LOT of sincere apologies. And you know how Miss Rachel was harassed for saying all kids deserve life and kids don’t deserve war, right? She released a cute kid song album yesterday and Taylor Swift decided the perfect day to release her new album was just then. That was totally not on purpose. Miss Rachel was totally not super excited about or for a while and talking about it (she’s adorable I love her sm). Taylor also is not a neutral person, as she has expressed her side in a lot of controversial political issues (about Trump, George Floyd, etc) but not this one. Luckily for us, she does have a good amount of zio friends to tell us her stance for her! Of course many Israelis don’t support the IDF and IOF who take land from native people but her Israeli friends are adamant and open supporters of the settler movement in Palestine. And again, not a single billionaire is good. There is not a single good billionaire on our planet. Achieving a billion dollars is not something someone does on their own. Explaining billionaire theory is a thing for its own project so I’m going to leave the topic alone but all you need to know is not a single billionaire becomes a billionaire with hones, fair earnings. If you claim to be neutral, you do you, I guess but I don’t understand why on earth Palestine/Israel is such a hard decision while if I ask you Ukraine/Russia, you’ll scream Ukraine before I say Russia. The Ukraine/Russia conflict is between to sovereign countries (I support Ukraine, ofc) while Palestine/Israel is between settlers and natives. It’s not a difficult decision. If you’re trying to convince yourself that it’s complicated, do yourself some good and do research from both sides of the issue. Checkout Palestinian perspectives and then check out Israeli perspectives. Match them. What do you think is the truth? All I know is that an unborn baby is no terrorist. Setting fire to a lot of my friendships with this one haha
