The largest predator on Isla Lypitheo, Lagartotooth (Maliciosaurus rex scientifically) is a 10 ton Tyrannosaurid known for its strange, extreme armor and strange tendencies causing it to catch far more prey than it can eat. It is 15 feet high and 45 feet long on average. It has a blue hue on its scales caused by the dense organic diamond embedded into its scales which makes it nearly indestructible. On its eyes are shells make of a translucent material to protect it from attacks and damage to the eye. The creature also has a rough, uneven, but symmetric surface resembling poorly placed pebble paths. The creature was first discovered in 1580 by ships scouting the Atlantic ocean. But was believed to be a myth for a few hundred years until the first physical evidence in 1846.
