(How did this happen?) Ever since the formation of GC the nation has been consistently under the threat of Floridian invasion from both the south and north. This was them thinking they could push us around without any consequences well they were wrong. President Mathew Smith ordered a full scale military buildup up on both borders with Florida for a 2 pronged attack against them. As the only way to ensure our nations freedom is by winning a war against them. (Maryland front) *part 1* Hours after the declaration of war against Florida around 50 missiles fired into Maryland aimed at cities like Baltimore and Annapolis, as well as known locations of military bases. The goal is to attempt to destroy all and any key infrastructure and military resistance as soon as possible. Other missiles were launched at naval bases to help us gain naval superiority early on in the war. As we need naval superiority to hold the war effort on our side. The missiles would manage to destroy and or weaken most naval bases in Maryland weakening the Flordian Navy fo now. *part 2* Artillery would rain down on the border quickly. Aiming at defensive positions on the border trying to weaken it as fast as possible. They would also attack infrastructure to stop supplies from moving through enemy territory. This would starve them as well as weaken the front lines. Naval bombardments would rain down on naval fortifications as soon as the war started. Manly in New Jersey but as well as Maryland. They would attack infrastructure and military bases on the coast quickly to try and wipe out any defenses quickly. Naval torpedoes would strike docks and other types of infrastructure. Cannons on ships would start large scale bombardments of Cities and military fortifications quickly. This would destroy almost any hope of defending naval invasions in the future. *part 3* Tanks would take advantage of the flat land that Maryland is made off and would launch large scale offensives early on in the war. They would push forward with infantry following to finish off any remaining enemy forces that weren’t wiped out by the tanks. Tanks would move fast and try to encircle enemy forces as quickly as possible. But to do this they would move on the remaining highways that weren’t destroyed in the blasts and there Is a reason behind that. As they were chosen to stay intact for the fact that they are key highways that will help our war machine move faster and more efficiently in the war. Infantry would set up checkpoints on highways to let supplies move faster to help it get to the front lines. Not only that but they would occupy cities to keep the remaining civilians from revolting but to also hold them down and prevent an enemy counter offensive from being to successfully or just happening at all. Infantry would be sent up in the mountains of western Maryland to capture them as fast as possible. Due to tanks not being the most effective when it comes to mountain warfare. But the infantry did have armored vehicles to help them fight a little better. Infantry raided towns and vil to gain resources as well as a foothold in the mountains. They would set up artillery in the mountains that would raid down on advancing forces. This would let the infantry advance farther into their territory as their forces would be weakened from the artillery. (Carolina front) *part 1* Air raids would be swiftly carried out on key infrastructure in Carolina swiftly in the start of the invasion to try and gain advantage in the air as soon as possible. The forces would aim for air bases as well as artillery positions to try and weaken defenses as soon as possible ad the war in Carolina will be moving slower than in Maryland due to the terrain. *part 2* Infantry would move in first this time under arial cover to hold the ground. Infantry divisions would move slowly as the Air Force attacked advancing forces to try and weaken them quickly. As helicopters would fly forces into the mountains In Carolina. They would capture small towns and military bases to gain supplies before setting them on fire. (The Rp in the last part is bad but I need to get this out)
