May be disturbing for younger ages... Mothos awoke with a start, gunshots meeting his ears. He stood from his bed, and a frightening sight met his eyes as he gazed out the window. For he saw that night flames burning through homes, and the cackling of dark laughter. Suddenly, a hand grabbed him from behind and forced him to the ground. General 'ahmaq, one of Mothos' greatest friends. "What is his happening? Why would you dare knock me down!" Mothos cried. "The question is simple." Another voice answered. Two figures walked straight into the room, two figures that filled Mothos with shock and disgust. Dr. Fenrir II and Almushtari himself. Almushtari was a tall man, standing at a height of 6 feet 5 inches, and weighing 256 pounds. He was truly a force to behold, terror striking the King. "General 'ahmaq, are you really a traitor?" Mothos asked. "I wouldn't call myself a traitor." 'ahmaq replied. "This is simply vengeance." Realization and guilt struck Mothos. "What have I done? You inflated my pride, and in my pride I have broken my vows! I should have never let you have my ear 'ahmaq!" and he wept bitterly, tears of repentance. Almushtari cackled darkly, nearly a perfect match in appearance to Sogran. "It's over Mothos, you have lost." Almushtari laughed. "My troops and I left our subterranean fortress and our sudden appearance struck fear into your loyalists. Besides, half of the city's military, about 109,000 men have joined me." "Impossible!" Mothos cried. "How could 109,000 people just because you came!" "Because of your taxes Mothos." Almushtari chuckled. "By doubling taxes, you made a lot of desperate people. Besides, humanity is fickle, and morality is subjective in their minds. "And Mothos there is more. Not only have so many soldiers joined me, but your capital surrendered to me, as well as the city of Krox, which as you know, is where I was born, from which 75,580 men have joined me. "So ultimately, now I have 291,462 men under my command, all Sogranists." "Noo!" Mothos cried. "How could people become so apathetic to the truth? How could so many hate Christianity?" "Because they have associated Christianity with your mistakes." Almushtari grinned, taking pleasure in Mothos' misery. "Not only this Mothos, but now I have 29 non nuclear ICBMs instead of 8 since Dr. Fenrir II and his father have been very busy. With these ICBMs, no one can stop me! "You Mothos and your nation Mothron are failures. Your weakness consumes you, and instability is a constant friend to you. I was afraid when Shields City arose, for unlike you, Shields City was quite a different matter. If they had taken over, then quite frankly, I don't see how I could have overthrown them like I did to you. "So what does it matter if there are still many cities in Mothron who have not yet surrendered to Third Sokron? They will soon become sensible, as will the rest of the World. "Soon the entire world will become mine!" Almushtari cackled. "There is one thing you are wrong about." Mothos replied. "For you cannot conquer the World, even with your ICBMs. Sogranism is not eternal, Almushtari. Your high Command is gone, destroyed by decades of war. All you are Almushtari, is not a reincarnation of Sogran, but a miserable little hoodlum taking the place of your predecessors! You are no strategist, you were one of those lower ranking soldiers which obeyed the commands of your master!" Almushtari's happy face contorted with rage. "This is why I have come Mothos, to get revenge." Almushtari replied. "I have risen to avenge those whom Mothron and its friends destroyed. For 2 million of our soldiers were oofed in 2030, and their souls cry out for vengeance! Will I forget the 2 million you have oofed?" "You are indeed vile." Mothos replied. "For those men, every single one of them, were evil in the eyes of the LORD, and they were criminals, not saints!" "That is not what the people believe!" Almushtari cackled. "Now Mothos, let us see how the people will judge you!" Generals 'ahmaq and Makar, both Sogranist Generals seized Mothos and threw him out his window. Mothos wept, and cried out for forgiveness, but the crowd was merciless. Mothos was severely wounded by the crowd, and all went black for him. But then...he awoke. Nearly oofed, but not quite yet. Sorrowful faces gazed at him, faces that were not quite sure they had might the right decision. "Lux...Alpha Team...Jeremiah...I'm sorry." Mothos moaned. "I will lower the taxes...I will not colonize the stars..." "We know." Jeremiah replied. "And we forgive you. But I'm not sure about the rest of Mothron." "No." Lux replied. "It isn't Mothron anymore. The country that was once Mothron has been divided into three warring nations. Mothronites, Sogranists, and Shieldskronites. Who will win? Who will fall?
