. Here are all of the rules for Lost To The Sea. Please read all of them, as they can be different from other roleplays' rules. . General Rules 1. Be kind and respectful to everyone in the roleplay when talking to them; there's a real person behind the screen. You are allowed to have a mean character, but be kind to others out of roleplay. 2. Do not use any type of generative AI. (artificial intelligence) 3. If you have nothing nice to say out of roleplay, don't say it. 4. Please stay realistic, excluding warrior cats things. If a cat can't do that in real life, it can't do that in the roleplay. 5. If you're using someone else's art (this includes bases) credit the original artist by their username. (Don't go "credits to owner" because that tells us nothing of who actually drew it.) If you don't remember who drew it, use a different base. 6. Please don't ask the Leader's roleplayer to do a specific thing for your character. (such as selecting a very specific warrior name, picking a cat to be their mate, etc.) Though you are allowed to say which suffixes you would not want for your character. 7. The maximum age gap for mates/crushes is 8 moons. This is lifted once your character reaches 30 moons. 8. Don't redesign your character by too much. You can slightly adjust the pattern/fur shape/etc. (with the designer's permission) but you can't just turn them into a whole new cat. 9. If the character you got needs research, you must research the condition and post it before you can claim . Roleplaying Rules 1. When you reply to a thread, please don't "Claim! typing..." it and never actually reply to it. 2. Try to describe where exactly your character is in the thread. (you can see the map in this project: ) 3. Put actual effort into your threads. You don't have to make it like, 10 comments long, but try to make it a little longer than just 5 words long. 4. Don't make the roleplay starters too long or use too much aesthetic fonts/symbols. Some of these symbols could be a bit laggy for some people. 5. Try not to clog the studio with too many new threads. . Design Rules 1. Use realistic designs, please. (For instance, a gray tabby with cinnammon non-dilute splotches on it wouldn't exist, unless it's a chimera.) 2. You're allowed to have a slightly unrealistic color tinted cat, as long as it's not too visible. 3. Please don't use too many unrealistic markings or patterns a cat wouldn't be able to have in real life. 4. For this roleplay, the height limit is : 4 inches tall at least, 18 inches is the maximum limit (though, 18 inches is rare) . Disability/Disorder Rules 1. As stated in the General Rules, research the condition(s) your cat has, so it is portrayed correctly. 2. If you make a litter that has a kit with a condition, research that condition as well. 3. Do not use the Google AI summary thing, it's not very accurate. 4. If your cat has a condition, actually roleplay how the condition affects their life. 5. Do not copy-paste the research from a source; that's just plagiarism, not research. 6. Don't give a character a disability/disorder just "for an aesthetic" 7. Don't name a character after their disability/disorder.
These rules are still being added over time.
