*12/29/2034 2300 hours* Almushtari had decided against the wishes of his advisors to give a new years speech to boost morale among the troops after the recent GSTF assaults as he walked up to the podium and gazed upon the crowd of soldiers and reporters he took a deep breath opened his mouth to address th- *bang* *thump* Almushtari was gone before he could process it his 6r@!n matter made for a lovely painting *01/01/2035 * after the constant hit and runs of the GSTF from Operation Cleanse Almushtari gives a speech to boost morale in a high rise during this speech a GSTF sniper call sign "Grey Ghost" made his way into the city unnoticed during a rain storm as this time of year Mothron rains quite a bit during the night time rather than snowing like other nations this is due to their proximity to the equator and the GSTF upon receiving word from UCS spies ( this was unexpected but the UCS is reasonably upset with Almushtari so they pitched in however they could) upon receiving anonymous tip of the speech the GSTF sent in a lone sniper and you know exactly what happened next... after this the GSTF began to recall their troops from Mothron publically stating that the manhunt for Almushtari is over and they will leave the rest of the sogronists for other nations to clean up essentially leaving the heavily weakened Mothos city as a foothold for any nations wishing to conduct operations in Mothron against the remaining Sogronist forces Sogronist casualties: 32,540+ GSTF casualties: 1,840+ (due to use of hit and run guerilla tactics as well as the recent use of FPV drones for strikes on key infastructure) ("the hole is punched" is the code for Almushtari is dead) script (never got to it): "Grey Ghost this is high command, do you have visual?"
