Living the Story: A Whisper from the World: Chapter 8: Books & Lessons! I woke up and looked around. I saw the dorms. Phew, that meant it was not a dream, and I was gonna live the story! Hermione was up on her bed reading, and the other girls were waking up. "Morning." I told Hermione. "'Morning." she said back, "Let's go for breakfast." I changed into my uniform, combed my hair, and we walked to the Great Hall. "You know, I can't believe that we're at Hogwarts." Hermione said. "I know!" I said, putting my phone secretly on record for my "AI generated" vlog. We reached the Great Hall and sat down to eat. "I can't believe it. I've always wanted to go to Hogwarts since I was 5." I told Hermione, loading waffles on my plate. Apparently, Ron was eavesdropping because he said, "If you're Muggle-Born, then how did you want to go to Hogwarts at the age of 5?" "Yeah, how did you know?" added Harry suspiciously. "Honestly, don't you two read. I read about it. Now it's not wise to be nosy." I replied. "I do read a bit. There is no fandom concerning Hogwarts. I like PJO & Twilight and they're better than whatever nonsense you're talking about." said Harry, as if trying to disprove ME "WHAT?! How dare you call HP nonsense, and say PJO is better? And Twilight is nonsense." I replied, shocked. I pulled out my phone and spoke into the already recording camera and said, "This is crazy. The ultimate betrayal." I then put this on Scratch and the HP fan club on Pottermore. "Come on, we're gonna be late for Transfiguration." Hermione told me. We arrived at class. Professor McGonagall told us "There will be no nonsense in this class. If you can't keep up with this class, then I recommend not to take this class. Now we will be turning matches into needles." she continued, "The intacation is Acufors. Here's your matches." She waved her wand and the matches flew onto our desks. "Now do what I do." she said, "Acufors." she added with a sharp jab of her wand. The match transfigured into a needle. Then, Professor McGonagall turned into a cat. Suddenly, Harry & Ron burst into the room. Professor McGonagall turned back into a person and was confronting them. Afterwards, Hermione & I tried out the spell. "Acufors!" I said, pointing my wand at the match. It morphed into a needle. I looked to my left and saw that Hermione had also accomplished the same spell. Well, done, Miss Granger & Miss Smith. "Smith?" whispered Hermione to me. "I don't give out my name in the magazines and shows. My actual name is Tessa Marie Smith (Just to make it clear I'm NOT related to Zacarias Smith). Or Tess for short." I said. "Oh. Makes sense, Tess." she said, winking. After the lesson, we took a break. We talked in the common room for a bit, then headed to Charms. (Want to make this clear, this is not Leviosa not Leviosa. That took place 'round Halloween) "Welcome to Charms Class!" said Professor Flitwick, "We're going to start with the basics, wand waving. Now do what I do. Swish and Flick!" He swished his wand, then flicked it. We all started to copy. "Perfect Miss Granger & Miss Smith!" said Professor Flitwick as he passed our table, "Now copy the diagram on the board." After a while it was time for potions. I knew I'd ace it ... in Victorian Flower Language! "In this class there will be no foolish wand waving. You may not appreciate the softly simmering fumes of the cauldron. I can teach you to bewitch the mind, I can teach you how to bottle fame, brew glory, and put a stopper in daeth. That is if you aren't the bunch of dunderheads I usually have to teach. Potter, what do I get with an infusion of wormwood & asphodel?" "I don't know sir." replied Harry. "Miss Smith. Can you answer?" he told me. "In Victorian Flower Language, Asphodel is a kind of lily symbolizing daeth. Wormwood symbolizes bitter regret or sorrow. Combined, they'd mean I bitterly regret Lily's daeth. They also make the Draught of Living Daeth." I said. "Correct ... 10 points to Gryffindor..." said Snape, a falter in his voice. Hermione looks at me, smiling. Snape continues to ask questions, then tells us to copy everything down. A Little While Later: "Hmmm. Hermione. Do you think that I should start a HP lore magazine, and share what I find?" I said. "Totally! Call it The Secrets of Harry Potter!" she replied. "Yeah!" I said, creating it. We headed to the Great Hall for dinner. Dumbledore stood up to make an announcement. "We have a student from France who wishes to study here. Give a warm welcome to Aphrodite Rose Delcour! She will now try on the Sorting Hat!" A beautiful girl of around 16 stepped up and put on the hat. The hat said, "Ravenclaw!" She went up to sit with the cheering Ravenclaws. After dinner I fell asleep, wondering ...
♡♡♡♡♡ Note: ♡♡♡♡♡ Quite a first day I've had, huh? Turned a needle into a match, revealed the secret of Snape. Did my name reveal (which is also in a separate project). Started a HP lore magazine. Well, it was exciting. I thought it would be cool to put Harry in the PJO fandom, 'cuz it'd feel weird if HP preferred PJO to HP. The Twilight one was just for humor. No offence to PJO or Twilight or fans of both. Also, I finally caught up with my notebook! ~ T.M.S ♡ Credits: ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Song is "Top of the Class" (edited) by @ArtsyPrincess4! Thanks to Canva for the picture!
