A lot of people, including me, have made posts relating to the belief that black cats are being t0rtured on Halloween. However, @omegamarigold84 asked me on a call if I knew if it was true or not, so I did research and saw that several credible resources stated this was false. In actuality it was predators (like in nature) such as coyotes that would eat certain parts and leave others, which would then be eaten by scavengers. So no, black cats are not being tortured, however it's still best to keep your cats inside or keep them under supervision.
