[English] Scratchtober 2026 ----- Welcome to Scratchtober 2026! See the list of prompts here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1386219222/ Scratchtober 2026, inspired by Inktober, will provide a list of random prompts (words, ideas, themes) for you to use as inspiration in projects over the course of two weeks in October. From these prompts you can create artwork, games, animations, stories, tutorials, or whatever else you can imagine! For example, if the prompt is “Stick” you could: - Draw or animate a stick figure walking down the street - Create a game where your character can stick to walls or ceilings - Make a tutorial about how to create your own stickers - Design a campfire scene where you roast marshmallows on a stick - Tell a story about an ordinary stick that finds out they are actually a magic wand - Create a cooking project showing how to make candy apples or other treats on a stick - Explore the day in the life of a stick that floats down a river, becomes part of a bird’s nest, or makes friends with a dog - Imagine a world where everything is made entirely of sticks and create a game or artwork that brings it to life - What comes to mind when you hear the word "stick"? Draw it and make it interactive! - Remix a project in the studio around this theme and add your own ideas! Remember, these are only suggestions! You are welcome to come up with your own ideas as well, or take inspiration from projects already in the studio. Also, keep in mind there can sometimes be more than one meaning or ways to express a prompt and that's okay! For example, "Stick" could mean a twig from a tree, a stick figure, a hockey stick, a glow stick, something sticky, or even friends who stick together, among other things. Sometimes the most obvious meaning or expression for us will be something else for others, which can lead to really exciting and inspiring things! The list of prompts can be found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1386219222/. Every day we will highlight one prompt but you can see the list of prompts ahead of time, if you want to get an early start on a project. You can participate once, twice, or as many times as you would like! Come back every day to see what Scratchers are creating ^.^ What will you create? - - - List of prompts: Day 1: Stick Day 2: Pie Day 3: Potion Day 4: Gravity Day 5: Deep Sea Day 6: Fog Day 7: Midnight Day 8: Opposites Day 9: Magic Day 10: Ghost Day 11: Mirror Day 12: DIY (Do It Yourself) Day 13: Orange Day 14: Trick or Treat
