POV: Chika Classes began the very next day. Chika excelled at everything, and within a week, people were whispering about her being a “hidden honor student.” She earned that label because, despite rarely speaking up in class, she consistently came out on top. The boy with the second-best grades was Kei Karma. (…Wish they'd leave me alone.) Lately, whenever Lei or Runa weren't around, Kei would often come next to her, though they never have talked to each other. (What a hassle.) Chika soon began teaching Lei and Runa how to become cats. They seemed so interested in the life in NatureClan, so Chika asked Rin if they could stay over the Christmas Holidays. Lei and Runa asked their parents too. Soon, Lei had a form of a cute brown-tabby with sky-blue eyes, and Runa had hers, a grey she-cat with light blue eyes. Then Chika taught them how to hunt and fight. Soon, the letter from their parents came. They said it was okay. To their surprise, both Mr and Mrs McTowett and Mr and Mrs Fortean said they wanted to join NatureClan. Both parents said life was tiring and they wanted to have a new kind of life.
