lore: When the Imperium of Sol was in its last fleeting hours the Emperor launched 2 important things into the cosmos one was a fleet of small unnoticeable cruisers carrying what remained of the population these cruisers travelled for weeks on end while Eros crumbled and eventually reached a system they named Elesium and landed on a planet and its moon the planet and moon were named Lycaeus and the settlers began to build industry and function in a mining society run by control of resources this was a brutal system where those born low class where forced into slavery and mining over 2 thousand years they survived this way under this brutal regime of rich and powerful masters who enslaved those beneath them until the second thig the now long dead Emperor launched finally made planetfall... ... it was a simple cryo pod carrying a baby landed on the moon of Lycaeus and was quickly taken in by a group of slaves they decided to raise the boy inside it and named him Deliverance not because of what he had already done but because of what they forsaw in him quickly they realized he was no ordinary boy within a matter of only a couple of years growing to adolescence they taught the boy philosophy and literature as well as about their life on Lycaeus and how they came to be here for 2 thousand years the boy began to sneak around and observe the ongoings of the cruel mines and the way the society operated... he did not like what he saw when he matured to adulthood he began to rally those who raised him to war heavily outnumbered him and the slaves turned rebels conducted many guerilla attacks and hit and runs on key infrastructure scouting out targets for days and striking when the time was right they soon overthrew their masters on Lycaeus's moon and did the same on the planet they even detonated 3 ancient Cyclo Torpedo's which in turn forced the rulers of Lycaeus to surrender that day that victory and freedom was earned they renamed the planet Deliverance in honor of him and he came to be known as Corvus Corax for his dark hair and eyes the main structure of Deliverance was a tall space elevator spire system used to transport good which was renamed the Ravens Spire by Corvus himself and he began to explore his past while taking quarters there and he soon discovered where he came from like the fabled Roberto Gulliman he was a Primarch son of the Emperor and was meant to command a Space Marine legion (or so they were known in an age long past) he discovered a series of STC's of previously lost technology and genetic blueprints stored in his cryo pod and he used this knowledge to develop his space marine legion he called it the Raven Guard and used the STC's to develop the gear vehicles and ships they would use with Deliverances vast wealth of resources the mining operation expanded outwards to nearby asteroid fields and along with the Raven Guard the Planetary Defense Force defend Deliverance and the Raven Guard quite often explore and intervene in conflicts whenever they deem fit sometimes their presence and assistance of one faction on a world wont even be noticed... its been 500 years since that cryo pod landed
