Hi, everyone! As you can see, I drew my entry for an amazing Draw To Adopt contest!
BACKSTORY - Forest was a stray puppy that was lost in the woods, and was a scared Nature-Pup. Forest hoped that she would eventually make it out of the what-felt-like-endless forest. Then, something strange caught her eye - a walking mushroom! "What in the wood?!" Forest said. Should she follow it? She thought it might be a trap, but decided that she should just follow it. Hours later, the mushroom came to a stop. But there was a shadowy figure that picked up the mushroom, as the mushroom snickered mischievously. "A nature-pup!" A shrill voice said. Forest barked. Forest realized that it was the shadowy figure talking. "I've been looking for one of these," The figure explained to the mushroom. The mushroom giggled as the shadowy figure, known as a magical creature hunter, threw a net on Forest. Forest barked. And barked again -- and again, again and again until they reached a mysterious plus mythical looking cave. The mushroom followed the hunter through the mouth of the cave, as the hunter dragged the net beside him, with Forest still inside it. The mushroom helped the hunter open the net, and they locked Forest in a big room full of 2 other nature-pups. Forest gasped. The other nature-pups looked miserable, Forest growled and bucked her hind legs at the door. But it was locked. "Can you guys help me?" she asked hopefully. "Me and Ivy tried. It's too hard, though." one of the nature-pups replied. "I'm Moss. And this is Ivy." the pup added. "Nice to meet you." Forest said to Ivy and Moss. "Nice to meet you too." Ivy said. Forest sighed and looked out the window of the 3 nature-pup's dirty but slightly cozy room that they were locked in. Ivy and Moss looked too. "We need to get out of here." Forest said, sounding determined. A spark of anger rushed through her veins, and the flower markings on her fluffy green coat started to glow. All of a sudden, with a big growl, Forest used magical powers to make the doors unlock and open - all by itself. Moss and Ivy stood there, in shock. "Forest! Us Nature-Pup puppies never get our powers until were teenagers! How did you-" Moss couldn't finish his sentence. Ivy just stood there, her eyes struggling to blink. "Let's go." Forest said, running out the doorway. Moss and Ivy followed her. Eventually, the 3 friends made it out the woods, and made sure that not even a hunter got in their way.
