The Runaway Chapter 19 Medusa watched in fear as the black rose. "I KNEW IT YOU WERE ALWAYS WORKING WITH CARNIS" Medusa heard a voice behind her. "AND YOU DEFINITELY K!LL#D CAM" The voice added. Medusa did not k1ll Cam and she was not the one who opened it. Medusa looked behind her to see Asuka charging up to her. Asuka tacked Medusa to the ground both of them rolling right into the newly opened portal. Medusa noticed the red atmosphere of the inside the portal. A stampede of Monsters exiting the portal was right next to them. The floor was a black color like the burnt pile of ashes in Oreji's village. the trees were also black, with red leaves. Suddenly a figure that wasn't a monster but looked like a translucent human was standing in there. It wore the outfit of the Shadow Warriors, the one Medusa was wearing right now."Wait do you know him?" Asuka asked. "No" Medusa replied. "I Have a message for you" The ghostly figure said. "You have entered the portal, this spell is made to give you the message and be safe from the toxic air inside of here" It the past Shadow Warrior said. "you are the Locks of the Portal" It said. "One sword can end the portal forever"He said. "However you must find the one thing that lets the portal exist" He added. "Tonight on day 4 of Operation doomsday, I'm casting this spell, that will turn me into a monster by both the air in here and the fact I'm using portals Magic" He stopped talking for a second. "Now as the Portals Lock, you must find the one item that will keep the portal from opening if destroyed, If the portal is destroyed it will be a decade before it fully regenerates. Now find 2 others who will become the Portals Lock. But Beware of those who cast spells, they will eventually become a portals puppet. If you fail the portal will rule the world" The Former Shadow Warrior said. "Now good luck the spell is ending so will your protection from the air in here" The ghost finished before fading. Medusa could now feel the thick air as the spell disappeared. Asuka had a gas mask on, that was what she needed as well. It looked like Asuka would make it out of here. Yan-Medusa's sister was out there somewhere ,Medusa needed to get out of the portal to find her. "Yan please be alright" Medusa said. "Who's Yan?" Asuka asked. "Its my sister she was apart of Warthif but, I didnt see her when Carnis tried to k1ll me the second time" Medusa said. "Carnis tried twice" Asuka said her voice getting firmer. "Yes if the rebellion didn't happen, I wouldn't be here" Medusa revealed. "But I didn't hear about the rebellion" Asuka said. "It happened today, before Carnis opened the portal" Medusa answered. "So you didn't open this?" Asuka asked. "No, I k1ll3d Carnis and them The Portal opened, I think She did something before I k1ll3d her"Medusa said feeling the air get heavier than it was before. Asuka then pulled off her gas mask, before holding it out for Medusa to take. No I don't need it" Medusa rejected the gas mask. "Yes take it, I wish I was a better leader, for Vera" Asuka said. "You need to take it" She said. Medusa took the mask and put it on, almost instantly the thick air got thinner. "What about you you need one as well"Medusa said. "Ill be fine you need to get out of the portal" Asuka awnsered. "This air will damage the mask, so get out as soon as you can" Asuka said. "I should have known you were not one fo those cultist, Im sorry" Asuka apologise. "Its alright" Medusa said noticing that the stampede had d13d down. Medusa watched as thorny spikes grew on Asuka's arm" Umm you sure you don't need to put the mask Back on" Medusa said worried. "Im fine" Asuka spat" Get out of here before you turn into one as well" She added. However it was to late Asuka had become a monster. "Asuka stay with me, dont become one of them" Medusa said desperately. However Auka charged at Medusa claws in her hands. Medusa Didn't wanna hurt Asuka, even when she was a monster. Medusa ducked out of Asuka's claws path. "Asuka snap out of it, don't let it control you" Medusa said again rolling out of Asuka's path. However Asuka didn't snap out of it the portal had stolen Asuka. "NOOO ASUKA THAT CAN'T BE HAPPENING" Medusa shouted in rage. "I SWEAR ILL DESTROY THE PORTAL FOR THIS" She added. Medusa watched as Asuka sent another swing with her claws at Her. Medusa looked behind her as the portal got closer to her. (+)
