Soo…. I am still working on it, it’s just been on sort of a hiatus due to various reasons, mainly because of my mental health being way worse now than when I first started the series. Notice how almost all of them were drawn in 2024, which was one of the brief periods of my life where I was actually doing somewhat alright. There has been a lot going on that I'm not going to get into much here. Another reason being my art style has changed enough times it’s hard to get something that I feel like looks good and would fit with the original… I made the art style of the original comics very simple to draw so I wouldn’t get too caught up in trying to make everything look good and thus not ending up making any comic strips, but apparently nowadays I don’t like drawing in that art style and it has thus had the reverse effect, lol. My art style now is actually more similar to the original comics than what I was doing in a few of the later comics (you can see this in a few of my recent projects), but just different enough to be annoying to try and draw using the original style. At some point though I do want to try to make nicer looking comics in the newer art style because I was always frustrated by how boring the panel layouts of the comics were and I knew I could have done better even back then. And another reason being… this very website. Since this website is intended for children as young as 8 years old, you end up being very restricted in what you can write in a comic series. I already had to worry about or just scrap some ideas that I thought might be too dark for this website. So, I’m probably not going to post the comics on this website anymore, I already have other places I have been posting them anyway. I will leave the comics here as an archive of where everything started, though. The comics won’t get too disturbing or anything because they’re mostly just meant to be silly but it’ll likely be PG-13 at worst, but probably only PG most of the time. The worst it'll get is like maybe a small amount of violence or mild language. It also does not help that I'm an adult now and I know some people are uncomfortable with adults on this website. I’m probably going to do a sort of soft reboot of IKFUBC once I get around to figuring out a bunch of stuff for it. The original comics will stay canon unless stated otherwise and most will be tied in with the new ones, but the newer stuff is going to be slightly different. IKFUBC also doesn’t have a lot of comics in it yet so a soft reboot is unlikely to harm the story too much. It is almost certainly going to take a while to continue it though... I'm not really sure if I'll continue posting the comics to this website, probably not, but it's not too hard to find them just by searching up IKFUBC if you want to read them on other websites. Eventually I'll make my own website to post all this stuff on... I MIGHT still post some of them to this website if I think there isn't anything too objectionable in it. :P
Image is by me, and funnily enough it’s a character who showed up multiple times within standalone images on my profile as well as unfinished comics, but has never appeared in the finished ones… it’s a mantis named Tessa Sorry this isn't super well written I was trying not to fall asleep when writing most of it and my energy is just really low in general right now I also need to develop the world of IKFUBC more, but I suck at drawing it . . .
