˖᯽ ݁˖ Fernwood Equestrian Updates ˖᯽ ݁˖ 08. Pole Work with Choco - Whoo, Finally the day has come, this is my first ever ride on our 5yr old, Black Forest Horse x Connemara, Choco! I had bought him last year from Ghost's Christmas auction and have been working on his desensitisation and in hand work, as well as getting him properly backed. He has come along quite nicely and as our first ride, I thought some calm walk/trot poles would be a nice way to get him used to everything. Autumn (Or fall) has definatly come, and Fernwood has gone orange with the seasons. With everything cooling off, I decided to wear my McLaren f1 fleecy jacket to match Choco's McLaren tack set. Besides his backing process, Choco has been an absolute menace!! Most afternoon's you'll find him galloping and bucking through fields, rearing at gates, tipping out water buckets and terrorising Solar, who is in the pasture next to him, although, when he's calmed down, you'll find he is such a sweet horse that'll put 100% into all he does! - - - Tack, Horse, Jacket ↠ @Ghostsonqs Poles↠ @Stxrry-Nightz- Rider↠ @-TheConjuring
