so today i was in my athletics period and we were running laps around the school outside. by the way our school if freaking huge and we had to do 2 laps around it running the whole time. i have exercise induced asthma so i use albuterol BUT my inhaler had run out of doses and my mom hadnt ordered my new one so i didnt have an inhaler. our coaches dont tell us when we have run days so i didnt know i was gonna be running AROUND THE SCHOOL WITHOUT AN INHALER. we did one lap and all had a two minute break and i couldnt breathe. i fell down on the floor wheezing and coughing so my friend ran over to the coaches and told them i was having an asthma attack. the coaches literally just shrugged and said 'okay we cant do anything about that". my friend walks back over and gives me her water and the coaches stand in front of us. coach v looks at us and says "yall have to get in shape". everyone rolls their eyes and she looks d34d at me and just smiles and shrugs. "what do you want us to do?" she says. i dont respond because i still cant breathe and she says "we've done multiple other run grades before and you havent said anything". i take another sip of water and tell her that i didnt say anything because i had my inhaler that time and those run grades werent around the school in 95 degree heat. she shakes he head and makes us run another lap. at the end of that lap im crying because i cant breathe at all so i fall over on the ground. the coaches literally make everyone go inside besides me and tell me that they cant do anything if i dont have paperwork saying i have asthma. first of all, i gave them the papers saying i had asthma and that they could give me free 100s for some run grades, second IS IT NOT ENOUGH FOR ME TO FALL OVER MULTIPLE TIMES AND BEG FOR A BREAK ENOUGH TO BELIEVE I HAVE ASTHMA? im still crying and wheezing so they ask me what i want to do to fix my problem. its MY problem yall wont at least let me go inside and get water or send me to the nurse or SOMETHING? i tell them i just want water, they let me go inside and say that I SPECIFICALLY have to get in shape. anyways i go inside everyones asking if im okay blah blah blah. then i go home and tell my parents about it they get into i fight i start crying again but its okay :D
