FAQ (please make sure read all of the questions below!) . ⸼ ۰✧. ∗ ̥ ⁺ 1. What is Camp Galatians? It's a month-long camp on Scratch designed to help you grow a relationship with God through fun daily and weekly activities! When you sign up as a camper, you'll set a ‘minute goal’ for how much time you want to spend with God throughout the entire month. To achieve the minute goal, campers can go to church, attend Bible studies or do an individual Bible study on their own, serve others, pray, and more. 2. What are the responsibilities of a co-leader? - Maintain a healthy relationship between Scratch and life and encourage the same for campers <3 - Answering questions or concerns regarding Camp Galatians, if they're confident with the answer. - Taking any and all questions and concerns (theirs or others' if they are not confident in the answer) regarding Camp Galatians to the hosts - Updating minute goals in a timely manner and ensuring that all on-scratch records are up to date! - Overseeing the cabin and acting as a supervisor. - Contributing to cabin planning and development. 3. What can I do to earn minutes? As a general rule of thumb, anything that aids in growing your relationship with God counts! A general list of what counts is attending: - Attending church services - Attending choir/Worship Team practice - Attending Youth Group/Other Ministry Events - Reading/Studying your Bible - Praying - Sharing the Gospel with friends - Completing dailies + weeklies Unfortunately, spending time hanging out in the studios does not count! If you have any questions about whether something counts or not, please contact a host on their profile. 4. If I'm not a Christian, can I still join? Of course! Any and all are welcome to join, regardless of beliefs, religion, or denomination. Due to the role and position of a co-leader, we will only accept those whose beliefs do not contradict the core values of Christianity! This includes being trinitarian (belief of the trinity) and believing that Jesus died, rose again, and is coming back soon! 5. What are the activities? Dailies are new activities posted every day at midnight UTC. These are short-to-medium-length prompts that help enhance your imagination and explore more ways to connect with God and other people! Generally, they won't take more than an hour and will have a smaller amount of points attached. Weeklies are activities, similar to dailies, that are posted weekly! These weeklong activities may require more time and effort, such as doing an in-depth Bible study, making a craft, or exploring different topics. There are more activities we will having during camp, which will be posted in a forum later on! If you have any further questions, please direct them to a host. 6. When is my application due? All co-leader applications are due on October 19th at midnight UTC! If you need to request an extension, please message a host on their profile and we can help you figure that out. 7. I don't want to sign up as a leader; how do I sign up to be a camper? Camper signups will be released on November 1st at midnight UTC on Chocolate's profile! 8. How do I submit my application? A co-leader application can be submitted 3 ways. 1. Remix this project with your answers on either the pre-existing slides, or with a brand-new theme of your choice! 2. Post your answers on a forum post. (this is our preferred option!) 3. Post your answers in the comments of this project. (Although this way is completely acceptable, we recommend trying one of the other two options first, simply for easier formatting and readability.) 9. What are the cabins? This year, we will have 3-4 cabins! You can pick from: love, joy, peace, or hope. Each cabin will have one leader and one co-leader. 10. Help!! I have more questions! If you have additional questions, please ask either in the comments of this project or on a host's profile and we will do our best to answer them!
