Yes Metal AJ survives his LMS Canonically. Metal AJ was down in fact he wasn't even powered up/turned on yet when DJ killed his creator. a spark of light hits the button. then he powers on. he scans the surrounding area he's in. as soon as he spots something in the distance. DJ. DJ is pretending to be AJ The Stickman. Metal AJ scans him and sees his disguise. Metal AJ says,main command protect father/creator. completely failed. command removed. new command added kill the faker fully active. It's a battle they fight and fight. then DJ realizes that this machine he thought was weak was putting up too much of a fight. Then Metal AJ hits a blow and DJ falls down fully defeated.
This is Canon. Metal AJ would win in a fight against DJ even a full powered DJ cannot match and beat Metal AJ.
