Watchmen Empire vs. SN Outpost Delta — IRL Weapons Playthrough Phase 1: SEAD Kill Chain (T-0 to T+10 min) The Patriot is the problem. A single MIM-104 battery can shoot down a fighter in seconds. This changes everything from the last engagement. F-35As (2 of 4) launch first at max range with AGM-88G AARGM-ER anti-radar missiles — the Patriot's AN/MPQ-53/65 radar is the primary target. They stay outside the Patriot's 160 km engagement envelope until the missile is in flight, then pop up, fire, and disengage. F-15Es (2 of 4) run a decoy/deception package at low altitude, painting false tracks to draw Patriot engagement or force it to track the wrong target while the F-35s' missiles arrive. MQ-9 Reapers loiter at 35,000 ft (above Patriot's effective ceiling for most targets) providing real-time targeting of the radar site. If the F-35s miss, Reapers drop AGM-114R or call in a JDAM strike on the radar position. Expected outcome: Patriot radar is destroyed or suppressed within 10 minutes. The launcher (M901 TEL) is then a sitting duck — second wave of Hellfires or a GBU-39 SDB from an F-35 finishes it. Phase 2: Iron Dome / CRAM Suppression (T+5 min) While SEAD is in progress, F-15Es (remaining 4) sweep for any remaining SAM emitters with HARMs. The 2 Iron Domes and 3 CRAMs at Delta are passive until engaged — they don't need to be destroyed, just denied. The Watchmen's own Iron Domes + CRAMs mirror the setup, ensuring any SN rocket counter-strike is intercepted. Phase 3: Armored Assault (T+15 min) With air superiority locked: 4 M1A2 SEPv2s push the main axis toward HQ and Storage 4 Bradleys split — 2 left toward Barracks, 2 right toward the Garages (TOWs on any vehicles inside) 4 LAV-ADs screen the flanks, 30mm suppressing the 7 M2 Browning towers (25mm/30mm rounds shred light tower structures in 2–3 bursts) 6 JLTVs carry the 500 infantry in bounding overwatch CRAMs at Delta are useless against armor at this range — they're designed for rockets/mortar/loitering munitions at 1–4 km. The armored column closes at 60+ km/h. Phase 4: Consolidation (T+30 min) HQ taken by lead Abrams + infantry CQB Barracks cleared by flanking Bradleys + infantry Garages — any vehicles inside are TOW'd or run over Storage secured (likely ammo/fuel — Bradley TOWs neutralize any remaining threats) F-35As provide CAS on any SN counter-attack positions Reapers track and kill retreating armor Result Watchmen Empire SN Outpost Delta Aircraft lost 0 (Patriot killed before engaging) 0 Armor lost 0–1 Abrams (small arms/sabotage) 2 Abrams destroyed, 4 Bradleys, 4 LAV-ADs, 8 JLTVs Infantry ~15–30 KIA/WIA 500+ KIA Defenses — 7 towers destroyed, 3 CRAMs, 2 Iron Domes, 1 Patriot all destroyed Key difference from last engagement: The Patriot forced a 10-minute SEAD delay and required dedicated F-35A + F-15E resources to neutralize. Without that kill chain succeeding, the Watchmen's air assets would be at severe risk and the armored column would have to advance under a live SAM umbrella — a fundamentally different (and much riskier) fight.
