Hello! Trying Inktober again this year! Maybe one year I'll actually draw all of the prompts :sobbing: (edit: wait what i'm actually getting close- I'm behind but I think at 18 I'm further than I've ever got? Potentially? Yayay) These took around 1-3hrs each! (Around half an hour for non-scenes!) You can view these as speedpaints on Youtube at TheMadRatter! Day 1: "Apple" — This one was fun! I wanted to draw an OC who I hadn't drawn much, so here is my cool old fashioned canid picking apples in the orchard! § Design by: me Day 2: "Relic" — I wasn't actually sure what to do with this one! I thought about Podkin One-Ear fanart but didn't feel like making it lol. In the end I decided on drawing my still-unnamed Ancient Greek style Chamois, with some kind of old relic staff xD Doesn't really fit the prompt, I just wanted to draw him </3 § Design by: me Day 3: "Miniature" — The prompt made me think of all the small guys I had, so I decided to draw all of them!! This took a lot longer to make than I thought, rip- It turned out pretty cool though! I used comic-style dot effects in the backgrounds. § Designs by: me Day 4: "Cactus" — This was fun to draw, and was meant to sort of match Day 12's prompt from last year! Here is Neril swordfighting a cactus for fun. The type of cactus is probably nonexistant, I'm not very knowledgable about them rip TvT § Design by: me Day 5: "Smack" — Oof. What did Rye do </3 This was very goofy to draw, and quite hard to figure out too as I haven't really drawn any poses like this before xD § Designs by: me Day 6: "Ogre" — This one took me all day to think of a drawing for T.T Eventually I remembered there were ogres in Once Upon A Time, so here is my first fanart piece for this Inktober! (And my first sad human art *bleh*) Based on the scene from series 2 episode 5(?) with the ogre attack. § OUAT Owned by: Disney Created by: Adam Horowitz + Edward Kitsis Day 7: "Panic" — Today I drew one of my very nervous OCs, Spelt! I'm trying to choose lots of scenes with interesting poses or emotions to practice drawing different expressions! I'm also trying to choose OCs I've not drawn before, yet somehow he's already come up twice ☠️ § Design by: me Day 8: "Stinky" — STINKY!!! HOW COULD I NOT DRAW HIMMM - some more fanart today! Here is Stinky from The Moomins! Probably up to mischief as usual :P § The Moomins series created by Tove Jansson Day 9: "Ram" — I realised I have a lot of sheep characters but they're all female, luckily I had a new OC I recently designed for Design a Thon! § Design by: me Day 10: "Mystical" — Here is another DAT OC, a winged deer :3 the diamonds mightve taken as long as the drawing sobs § Design by me Day 11: "Rescue" — This is where i just start drawing all my main ocs instead isn't it </3 Here is Rice rescuing Barley from falling off a cliff because that's... normal § Designs by me Day 12: "Toss" — HELP THIS TOOK SO LONG. I had no idea what to draw other than ring toss which honestly i didn't want to do... so I ended up spending about three and a half hours drawing this... swordfight featuring Kordus, Miles and a random guy... yaey § Designs by me Day 13: "Flimsy" — NO BUT WHY DID I ACTUALLY TRY </3 I wanted to experiment with realism, humans, hair, blurring, and other tools, so here is Harry Potter with his broken glasses- this took way too long ☹️ i decided that being a week behind meant I should attempt to draw this. sob. his face is too rounded and it's annoying me. oh well § Harry Potter created by JK Rowling, character played by Daniel Radcliffe. Day 14: "Lady" — Here is Penelope, a very ladylike fox I designed for DAT! I redesigned her skirt slightly :] § Design by me Day 15: "Hooray" — Today I drew Willow, my sona, being happy as usual :P I really like how this one turned out <3 § Design by me Day 16: "Gangly" — I drew Fox for this prompt, since I would describe him as having a sort of 'gangly' build, and I drew him as a feral/quadrupel to capture that feature better :] § Design by me Day 17: "Contraption" — Today I redrew a very, very old OC for fun (and also because he happened to fit this prompt)- I designed this guy for an adopt project in 2023 and kept him, here he is with one of his inventions! § Design by me Day 18: "Flightless" — In comparison to the last prompt, here is a very new OC of mine, Posy! She has an outfit like a bee, including wings, but cannot fly. :> § Design by me Day 19: "Confused" — Here is Rice looking very confused :P § Design by me Day 20: "Lounge" — This is another OC from DAT lounging around in some sort of... chair contraption... which was loosely inspired by ship deckchairs, specifically those from ships like the Titanic! -- Credits: § Art by § Inktober by Jake Parker § Music: "Caesar" + "Pale White Horse" - The Oh Hellos
