I was just recently rejected form a map bc my pfp looks like a traced art. I want to say, yes it looks like graypillow's art and yes, it does looked trace. But I'm just that way. I'll use other artists art for inspiration. Graypillow is one of those. I never traced the image but I did use it for help on the drawing. No matter how much it looks traced its not. I was very upset and angry, I still am, that they rejected me just bc of that reason. I don't ever plan on tracing. Especially not in a map. I feel like it would just make it harder.
If you ever done this to someone and they told you its not a trace or even a copy, of your art or someone else's, I'd recommend you apologize because they probably felt the same way.
