Hello, and welcome to my, shading tut. The tutorial will be here in the instructions and the pictures will be in the project. (Tap for next costume) (Tap) I recommend you use these color pencils, the company is ErichKrause ArtBerry. (Tap) So this is the coloring page I’m using. If you like, you can use any coloring page with flowers or you can use your own art which has flowers. (Also keep a coloring page/artwork with a person and one with wood) (Tap) First start coloring lightly with a red color pencil, (tap) then on the top of the petal, outline it firmly with the same red color. (Tap) Then kind of blend it into the base color by starting with a firm coloring and then slowly remove the pressure and make it light. Do that for the rest of the petals, and done! (Tap) Your flower is complete. If you would like, you can color it opposite, make the tips of the petals light and the inside dark. Don’t forget to color the middle of the flower dark too! (Tap) Now the leaves have the same strategy, color it lightly, (tap) and then darken the line down the middle and the lines on the side of the leaf <— and done! (Tap) Now for the hand, you might wanna make it darker under the fingers (if it’s a posed hand) and you should make it darker on the creases as well. You should also use a real life hand for reference while doing the creases. (Tap) Use this color pencil for the wood, Faber Castell. (Tap) Now we’ll do the wood. So we start with light coloring as usual. (Tap) then we kinda make lines to make it realistic (tap) then we blend it into the base color. (Tap) and finally we make the shadows if there is anything on top of the wood. (Tap) This is the final artwork. (Tap) This is an example for most of the things I told you in the first one. The wood has the same strategy and the flowers too. As you can see, there are birds. To shade them, you gotta use many shades of brown or any color you’re using. You have to make it darker under the wing and some places in the feathers. (Look inside)This is another example of shading. This is for skin. So you have to make shadows under her hair, her fin, on top of her eyes, her neck, and finally her collar bone. Her nose too if you like. Also you should start with a light coloring and then start the darker bits so it kinda looks like there’s light on her body. Observe her body carefully and notice all the details.
