I’m too old for this site, guys LOL Scratch has a very very special place in my heart but there’s nothing else I really wanna do on here. SF has moved off platform due to being too mature to follow scratch guidelines, so the scratch fanbase is essentially dead or moved to the disco server I’ll still be checking in once a day to check my messages, ONLY because there’s one friend on here I still talk to that I can’t talk to offsite rn. Once they move site somewhere, I’ll be leaving entirely (probably will still check my messages every few weeks though) I won’t be posting any more projects UNLESS I get bored and decide to make more dumb crappy scratch games / draw on vector as a challenge, unless like a bunch of people beg me to come back which I seriously doubt lol Scratch has been such a huge part of my life- not just my online life, my life in general. I met my two best friends on here, I met one of them in person! (Don’t meet random people you met online irl kids I knew him for like five years before we met irl and we had hundreds of VC hours) My entire childhood was this website. I’ve always been a hermit, so this site honestly raised me lol. I made a lot of mistakes on here but overall I’m proud of the things i accomplished when I was a kid! Despite all the blatant issues with this site, I don’t hold anything against anyone. Despite the flaws, scratch was my entire childhood and has single-handedly shaped my future. I can’t be grateful enough to the amazing things simply being on the site has done for my literal entire life. I met so many lifelong friends on here, one of which I’m planning to marry, it’s actually insane. (Again guys please be careful online! Don’t friend people you haven’t known for at least a year offsite, I’ve had a lot of good experiences with people on this site but I’ve had a lot of bad, dangerous experiences as well and it’s very important you prioritize your safety! The two best friends I talk about are people I’ve known for literally nearly six years because of this site and talk to daily, and vc with regularly. Please please please be careful and don’t VC with people you don’t know well!) The only project on here I’ll be finishing is museum of idiots, when I find the time. The finished version, however, will be posted on YouTube instead of scratch mostly due to lag. Thank you to everyone who stuck with me throughout my years on here! It means the absolute world to me, but it’s time for me to move elsewhere. Peace out :)
