From the CCRP wiki: "The Istanahabad Caliphate declared war on the Khigari Junta, with an army numbering 18,000 entering the southern region of the country, which quickly organised itself into columns of guerilla fighters. Rikhe, supported by the Caliphate, staged a coup in the Ialikan Republic, being along with him almost half of the Republic's army. Lots of infighting ensued, which was only put down upon the arrival of Brehonic forces to Fort Carvera, which it had built a year earlier. The Brehonic Corps moved across the country, putting down Rikhe's coup, and starting their own. Timen Vias was inaugurated as the first Prime Minister of the Brehonic Protectorate of Ialikan. Je Federáciòn Iqere supported the Velstranor Republic, sending a fleet of caravels and a small army to the front lines. The Khigari Junta evacuated the southern region, after just three days of fighting and evacuated to the north, taking advantage of the political situation in the Ialikan to sneak through the Khigari Corridor." According to my (albeit limited) sources, the battle was fought between the Carlavic Empire and the Khigari Junta. Reports from the Carlavic side reported "Retreating istanahabad militia, Partially arquebus and spearmen. Versus Carlavic Arqu[e]busmen. It happen[ed] in the mountains, the carlavic ones flanking the isntahabads, and ambushing them."
