thanks to @enzoiskewl3w3 for the recommendation! it was now or never, as i shouldn't have been THIS late to be tapped in i'm a really big fan of rappers like slayr, lucybedroque, and prettifun, who all make music similar to what i listened to today.. but don't let the album cover fool you, this album has the most COLORFUL, BOUNCY, and the most unique production i've ever heard from that released this year. we dive into khel's "real girl rockstar" a 10 song, 24 minute EP, or extra play. at first, i thought khel was a girl because yk, the name is called real girl rockstar, but at first listen of the first song, i heard boy vocals, and then i was like, oh maybe it's just a hidden feature or something, but then it's the ENTIRE SONG- so i did my digging, and khel IS a girl, but a transgender? idk i'm just going to assume that (correct me if im wrong) this album SHOUTS 8-bit! the video game inspired melodies are so fun and her chorus performances (especially on "mi monstruo") PAIR SO WELL WHAT- also as always, every digicore rapper makes the best transitions, and this proves my point I WAS NOT EXPECTING THE SUDDEN ORCHESTRA IN THE END OF "down2" there are some tracks that weren't as HUGE as some of the standouts, but overall, this project was pretty consistent overall!
