Ok so Dana Terrace's book The Long-Lived King came out on Tuesday, and I read it. DO NOT CONTINUE DOWN IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS. I spent 6 months waiting for this book to come out, hoping for new lore, but there was NONE. Like, at ALL. It was just depressing and anticlimactic. COLLECTOR DID NOT PLAY A BIG ENOUGH PART, DAMMIT. Not only that, but it's called 'The Long-Lived KING', and yet the book centered on LUZ. SHE ALREADY GOT A SHOW. SHE SHOULD NOT BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION ANYMORE. King was overshadowed by Luz AGAIN, in his OWN BOOK. Pmo. It's not all bad, though; I love Luz and Collector's designs and outfits, at least. Another problem I have with it, though, is that Gus has the same shade of skin as Luz in the book, even though he's a lot darker than her in the show. C'mon, guys, you can do so much better. I give this 5 out of 10 Pop-Tarts at best. Not enough lore, King was overshadowed, and it was anticlimactic. This is just my opinion, of course, but UGH, I'm so disappointed.
