Story: the year was 1982, many years after Ghidorah's defeat. Kaiju were rampaging everywhere, with no end to the madness in sight. Godzilla was nowhere to be found, and a new monster had begun its reign. after the defeat of Orga, who was part Godzilla if you remember, all of the G-cells that were contained within him were launched into space by strange antigravity occurrences around the globe while Ghidorah was still alive. also, in the 30-megaton explosion that destroyed most of Tokyo in Godzilla's second fight with Ghidorah, the antigravity had mixed with the massive explosion's energy and some of Ghidorah's cells, and more G-cells, flew into space. many years later, all the G-cells from Orga and the G-cells from Godzilla and the cells of Ghidorah merged into one being: Spacegodzilla. Spacegodzilla took years getting to earth, but in 1981, he finally did. now, Spacegodzilla had been on earth for a whole year and became the most powerful Kaiju yet seen on earth by human eyes. as the chief cause of most of earth's problems at that point, he had to be stopped. but who will step up to the plate? Godzilla, of course. we just have to find him now.
