I’ll lock in on SDAS stuff now that this is done I promise- Yayyay I tried grayscale rendering for the first time and I actually hated it but here we are ToT I like the composition and lighting but I genuinely need to start studying anatomy and rendering it’s an issue… Yk I had originally planned on making the buildings in the piece be on fire but it kind of just happened. I wouldn’t put it past these two if I’m be completely honest… I think I mentioned in my first entry that Ashi and Aska (the other character) become friends and at one point they go to a festival (which is why they’re both fancy) in Dewpoint/Poinew (which is like Sundial’s version of China, essentially) and they originally weren’t going to burn it down, but it made the art cool so it’s just lore now lol- I debated for a long time about wether I should draw Ashi and Aska in Dewpoint or Cedarhollow (which is where Aska’s from, it’s essentially like Germany) but I obviously went with the former. I wanna draw these two again at some point, but I lowk have other stuff to work on so this will be the last entry for a while. Which I think is what I said in my last entry … but I’m being for real this time ToT I do have plans for an animation though… to “sinking town” probably There’s more lore I just don’t feel like writing it out- Credits: Art: Me Characters: Ashi (left): @Auxari Aska (right): Me Song: The Hand - Annabelle Dinda if dna is needed to make proteins and proteins are needed to make dna then which one came first? well it was actually neither of them because rna came first and is far more significant in evolution and cell function than dna but for some reason we’re always taught things about dna long before were ever taught things about rna the only reason dna evolved was because it was more stable but it can’t even fit through the membrane in the nucleus so it has to copy itself into rna form and then the said rna literally does all the work when it goes through the ribosomes you know my science teacher says that because advancements in rna research are progressing so quickly it will only take a few generations before kids are primarily taught about rna and dna will only be mentioned in passing which is the opposite of how it is now
