TYSM for 130 followerssss :DD Haiii this is ma first DTAE!! (draw to adopt entry) 5) Depth (Treanches of the deep) He/them (prefers he/him) things to noteee (there will probably be more stuff to note later but I just wanna say) - Depth has like a shark tail shape as a tail but it is fur not shark skin
---Backstory--- As a shark cat, he never fit into a perfect category. he wasn't a full cat, so they called him a freak, and he wasn't a full shark, so he was almost killed when he had to escape the sharks. As a kit, Depth always wanted to have his own family, but when he saw his mother and dad fighting, he knew that there was a longer and much harder road waiting up ahead of him. soon after, he was training with his dad, and trailed too far while learning how to hunt. he stumbled over a sharp rock, cutting his back paw and sending him plumiting over a waterfall, his back fur getting caught up on the edges of tapered boulders sticking out from the waters. He fliped his tail in the air gravely, hoping it would help for something, but it barely did, so he thought. When he landed in the water, his eyes rolled back and he lost counsiousness, the buds on his intenas flaring to light as he slowly fell deeper into the water then he ever knew he could. When he woke up, his eyes felt like they had been covered, and he couldn't see a thing, so he worriedly stood up, tumbling backwards and falling onto his back. after several tries of trying to take the bandages off, he finnaly gave up and curled up into a ball, squizing his eyes shut and trying not to think of how he was trapped, of where he was, the burning pain in his leg and back, the aching memory's of his mother and father, the humilulation of not catching anything before being down here. As his eyes where closed, his intenas pulsed brightly, and when he thought he opened his eyes, the underwater world seemed ten times brighter, and he could see everything. It took him a few weeks to learn all about it, and learn how to catch food for himself, but for now, he was known as the creature who was one of two that lived in the cave below the trenches. Giving him the name of Depth, the Treanches of the deep.
