[[ The morning before the election, the papers glare up from shop window to shop window with the same headline: "[BAIT] CORE'S SECRET RIDDLEWORT SCANDAL EXPOSED." The article underneath runs as follows: "Bates Crownbreaker, the [BAIT] core, has sparked significant controversy within the community recently, as, along with a few others, he has been heard to have been spreading concern by claiming to know forbidden knowledge and mentioning being part of a "grand plot." Following these happenings, [BAIT] made a public announcement, stating that he had fallen into a patch of riddlewort with his associates and had a shared hallucination with them, advising the population to disregard his prior statements. However, after Quentin Cloth, the [CLOTH] core, came to us today with undeniable evidence of Bates having not told the truth, we were forced to deny the [BAIT] core's story. This photograph, which was apparently taken when [CLOTH] saw Bates engaging in suspicious activity through the window of his house, depicts Crownbreaker standing next to multiple vases of riddlewort, with him making a clear attempt to block the camera's view of these plants. 'Yes, truly a scandalous affair, all this,' say a pair of curtains, 'I would never have believed it of him. Of course, the whole mad rambling situation did nothing to help his reputation, but this is where I draw the line. Whatever rumours he must be trying to cover up... he could have at least told the truth about his riddlewort obsession. To think I was going to vote for him this election!' When questioned as to the whereabouts of this happening, Quentin replied, 'Some house up North of Freedomtown, it was. I was taking a stroll past there, thinking of all the wonderful things I could do to help our nation if I became Vice Captain, and there he was, as I saw through the window, stumbling around with a vase of riddlewort! Of course, I got closer to get a better look, and wouldn't you know it, he was surrounded by these vases, and they were piled up all around the room! Must have just bought some or something. Anyway, I took a photograph and ran, whatever happened to him I've no idea. What I do know is that whatever occurs, ABSOLUTELY NOBODY should vote for this man at the next election. Riddlewort consumption is dangerous, and somebody this addicted to it clearly is not fit to be in office, especially when he is publicly spouting nonsense like that from obvious over usage. This is why one of my pledges as Vice Captain would be to put an end to issues surrounding riddlewort, stopping so much needless terror from individuals like this Mr. Bates. If you see me at the election, make sure to come over and vote for Quentin, and we can prevent situations like this from ever arising in the future. That's Quentin, Q-U-E-N-T-I-N.' Crownbreaker has yet to produce a statement defending himself over this matter, and his actions regarding the affairs are currently unknown. What we do know, however, is that no matter if Bates' coverup was malicious or of another nature, he is clearly spreading dangerous rumours, and should be avoided. There are no laws in place over a situation such as this ('Yet,' says [CLOTH]), and it seems as if evidence is too scarce to prove anything except Crownbreaker's untrustworthy nature. Despite this, we advise all of our readers to avoid the [BAIT] core in future, as it is doubtless that he only has more terrible rumours to spread. We definitely shan't be voting for him here." The next day, a surplus of posters advertising Quentin's candidacy in the election appear around Crownbreaker territory. ]]
