I awoke to shouts, clangs of metal on metal, and the release of bow strings I saw the dark princess fighting with sidon and tulin. the master sword lay on the ground next to me. I picked it up and then I saw the discarded savage lynel shield. I raced over to it as a beam of darkness shot straight at me I ducked and at the same time garbed the shield. "Link," sidon and tulin simultaneously yelled over another blast. I jumped in front of them and making a perfect guard. The princess's focus broke and I swung at her the princess fell to the ground with a Splat. The calamity rose out of her lifeless body malice spilling out of the died princess with the calamity "the real fight starts now," I yelled. Raising the blood stained master sword hundreds of arrows and Spears rained down on the calamity. "The rito army is here," tulin said. zora with Spears launched out of the water and struck the calamity. I raised the sword that seals the darkness and sealed the darkness.
The Master Sword hummed, its pristine blade reflecting the dark, swirling clouds of the Hyrule Ridge. Link stood alone on the scorched earth, his boots sinking slightly into the ash. Before him towered Dark Beast Ganon, a mountain of hatred, malice, and ancient spite given form. The air was heavy, thick with the scent of ozone and burning grass. In his hands, the Bow of Light felt impossibly light, vibrating with a pure, sacred warmth that cut through the oppressive chill of the malice. There were no spirits left to call upon, and no stallion to bear him across the battlefield. The spirits of the Champions had moved on, their duties fulfilled when the Divine Beasts fired their piercing beams into Hyrule Castle. The ancient powers that once shielded him, healed him, or launched him into the heavens were quiet. His loyal horse was safely out of reach of this nightmare. It was just Link, his own two feet, and the bow. "Link!" Zelda’s voice echoed in his mind, clear and desperate. "I am holding his power back! Look for the glowing crests!" Ganon roared, a sound that shook the very earth, and unleashed a torrent of crimson fire from his maw. Link sprinted. Without a horse to outrun the blast, he had to rely entirely on his own stamina. He dove to the side, tumbling across the dirt as the beam of malice scorched the grass just inches behind him, turning the soil to molten slag. As the light faded, giant, glowing golden crests materialized on Ganon's side. Link planted his feet into the dirt, ignoring the burning ache in his legs. He drew the Bow of Light. He didn't have Revali’s gale to loft him into the sky, nor Urbosa's fury to stun the monster. He had to rely on raw, honed marksmanship while standing completely exposed on the ground. He pulled the string back, the light blindingly bright against the dark sky, and released. Thwack. Thwack. Thwack. Three arrows of pure light pierced the malice. Ganon thrashed, a guttural shriek tearing from his throat. The beast spun, trying to crush the tiny interloper beneath its colossal hooves. Link took off at a dead sprint, dodging the massive, stomping legs as he made his way toward the opposite flank. Zelda exposed the next set of crests, but fire began to rain from the sky. Without Daruk's protection, a single stray ember would be devastating. Link ducked, jumped over a rolling wave of flame, and slid on his knees into a firing position. He drew the bow again, firing in rapid succession. The arrows found their mark, shattering the crests into fragments of glittering light. "One left, Link! Beneath his belly!" Zelda cried out. The beast reared back, preparing to unleash a massive shockwave of malice. Link didn't hesitate. He ran directly beneath the towering behemoth. The heat was suffocating, the purple sludge dripping from Ganon's underbelly threatening to dissolve anything it touched. Standing right under the shadow of doom, Link looked straight up, saw the pulsing golden eye on the beast's stomach, and loosed a single, perfect shot. The impact sent Ganon crashing to the ground, the massive shockwave throwing Link backward. He rolled hard across the dirt, his muscles aching, his breath ragged. He pushed himself up, wiping sweat and ash from his forehead. Ganon was already recovering. The massive beast's forehead began to split open, revealing a colossal, burning eye of pure malice. Link looked at the height of the beast. He had no gale to lift him. He looked down at his bruised arms. He had no magical shields, and no horse to jump from to gain height. He had to use the environment. Sprinting toward Ganon's lowered head, Link leaped onto a crumbling stone pillar left behind by the kingdom's ruin. He scrambled up its jagged edge, using every ounce of his remaining strength to propel himself off the top into the open air. Time seemed to slow as gravity took hold. He was floating, if only for a fraction of a second, suspended directly in front of the eye of the calamity. He drew the Bow of Light one final time. The sacred energy enveloped him, casting away the shadows. He aimed straight into the center of the giant, burning eye. "This is for Hyrule," he whispered. The arrow left the string with a deafening crack. It struck true, burying itself deep within the eye of the beast. A blinding white light erupted from the point of impact, tearing through the darkness. Ganon's roars turned from anger to agony as the ancient malice began to dissolve into pillars of pure, cleansing light. Falling back to the earth, Link landed heavily on his feet, his eyes fixed on the collapsing sky as a figure in a white dress began to materialize from the fading glow.
