Really Helpful Engines released a while ago, but here's a US-cover of the theme I recorded a few weeks ago. Here is a whole list of thoughts I had about it. 1. No way! The classic theme is referenced! 2. Yay! The Narrator role's back! It's been so long! 3. I can see that Knapford's starting to lean more into modern tropes. 4. Henry's speaking again! After 5 cold years, he's back! Wait, he's in charge of the mail? 5. If Henry's back at Tidmouth and brought Rosie with him, what happened to the sheds at Vicarstown? 6. Guess he can't be the "Fat" Controller anymore if he works out now! How about the "FIT" Controller instead? 7. Gordon, I though you said "Tender Engines don't shunt!" Why do you suddenly NOT hate goods trains? 8. Gordon, did you recieve some bad coal? 9. Deepak? That's his name? I thought he was Jay! Did they change it midway? 10. Rosie coupled up to Thomas instead of Gordon. (Also what accent is that? It sounds a little Hispanic to me tbh) 11. What is IN those crates that they're too heavy for Thomas? Amo? Weights? Pure Cinderblock? 12. Oh hey! Bruno's CGI debut! And he sounds just as he did in AEG! 13. Leaving him behind sounds hazardous... 14. Farmer McColl is speaking again, but he seem a lot more jacked up than I remember. 15. Hmm... Bob's looking different. (Day of the Diesels confirmed that Thomas' driver is named Bob) Unless he died and got replaced. 16. "Cinders and Ashes! I've broken my brakes!" Aah dilenma. 17. I can see that Topham's Car is back. 18. That's not Brendam. That's why there's a faceless Big Mickey and no Cranky. 19. James hasn't said a word at all! (Wait, did you just say that one of Percy's older VAs is returning for him?) 20. Who's operating Bruno? 21. Again, Rosie's accent makes no sense. 22. Wow. Gordon really IS a darker blue than Thomas now. Edward is also apparently planned to be a duller blue. Is there an Animal Park episode planned? 23. I kinda miss the narcissistic demeanors of some of these characters. 24. I can't help but notice just how big everyone's numbers are. 25. Why isn't James at the sheds? Also, why did Henry barely do much? 26. After some recent news, I can confirm that the empty berth is Nia. Guess Edward's still sleeping at Wellsworth. Did Emily move back to Knapford? Overall, it's pretty good. A nice way to start off the 29th Series overall. They're being so true to original concepts they even brought back the idea of Annie and Clarabel having gray faces in Series 12.

After looking through the Merch lineups, it seems that Hiro-sensei's returning with his original Seiyuu! Igawa-san was quite a pleasure back before I could even write! Okay, if Duck and Oliver are coming, then where are Donald and Douglas? I only have those twins in Wooden Railway! Doesn't help that only Donald got a Trackmaster Revolution release (under the AEG redesign). I want to have a complete numerical lineup of engines! The magnets on the new Metal toys have the same polarity as Wooden Railway, but some of the big engines don't do well on smaller curves. Especially Gordon since his tender drawbar is too short.
