AHHHH THIS SONG GIVES ME HOPE FOR THE WORLD!! Made by FLABOR FOLEY!!
Lyrics: Peeled the paint off of my fingers Picked up all the patterns, let them fall away Used to leave it 'til my skin hurt But I don't need that feeling anymore The blinding white of freshly mounted linen All the love and life that just needs definition And I only took it where I wanted Never where I needed, never room to change It's different now, the way the colors shine through, but Is the promise of tomorrow ever truly absolute? If I take the hues and combine into something new Could it reach you too? So trace this line across the scene And we can see (How the colors bleed) How it could be (When we make believe) My calloused fingers pick and place the pieces once beneath my feet I count the ladybugs that land upon my cheek So stay with me (Take a fantasy) My lucky piece (To reality) And send a sketch of fairer fortune out upon the passing breeze You might also like Picked a clover from the meadow Pressed it in my journal for a rainy day I just want to follow in your footsteps But I don't even know yet what it's like to say "I'm more than this, I'm not a perfect person I will sing and dance and love without a purpose" But I try to get a little closer With every single brushstroke running off the page It's different now, the way the colors shine through, I Used to linger, waiting hopelessly for something I could prove But the wonder wasn't something that I could choose And you knew that too, didn't you? Is it different, how the things you left behind you all Seem to shimmer in the light from a different point of view? If I falter, and I turn my sight around Would it sparkle too? So trace this line across the scene And we can see (How the colors bleed) How it could be (When we make believe) My calloused fingers pick and place the pieces once beneath my feet I count the ladybugs that land upon my cheek So stay with me (Take a fantasy) My lucky piece (To reality) And send a sketch of fairer fortune out upon the passing breeze Between The verdant touch of green The dappled sunlight casts a crown on me And though I trip and fall I'll face the all and breathe it into me Daydream I'll weave it in a wreath The clouds, the sky, and every sprout and seed In colors of acrylic to mix them on my palette The gallery of life yet lived is- Left a corner of the canvas Willfully unfinished, sketches on a page So you can join in creation Knowing you can make it if I walk away The brush, the paint, it's all in its position All the love and life that just needs definition Will you take it with you when it's over? Lucky little clover
