Welcome to the promotion and information of a new camp we're cooking up, Hogwarts Camp! In this camp, we aim to bring Hogwarts to life in scratch by offering fun activities to do that are inspired by the much-loved Harry Potter series. ⚕ Q&A: ✧ When is it and how often does it occur? This session of HC starts on December the 1st and ends December 31st. As for how often each year, it occurs 3 times each year; February, September, and December. ✧ Will there actually be 4 houses? Yes! There will be traditionally 4 houses - Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin. ✧ Who will be the hosts, and heads of each house? The hosts are to be decided (they will be sent a personal request) as soon as possible. There will also be one head of each house as well as two Prefects that help out with everything in camp. Note: An application project with more information will come out soon. You can ask to be notified in the comments if you are interested. ✧ Is there competition and how does it work? There is most definitely the competition between the houses, though we encourage future heads of houses to foster this spirit fairly and be friendly while doing so. Like in the books, each house tries to get as many points to win at the end of each session. Campers will earn points by completing activities, and points will be rarely taken off. ✧ What are the activities going to be? Activities will be discussed between leaders, but for example it will be something like 'Write a 300 word made-up story about the personalities and history of each house's mascot'. ✧ How many activities will there be per day? There will be 1 activity per day, as well as other fun events that will occur for some time (yet to be decided) ✧ How active am I required to be? During the session, it will be encouraged to check in at least once every 3 days and do your best with activities.
