OKAY SO I JUST WANNA CLEAR UP. GET IT OUT OF THE WAY!! I LOVE AURPA!! It's my favorite RP community I've ever joined!!! I HAVE NO INTENTIONS ON LEAVING!!!! There's so many nice people there!!! Fishieblue could never steer me wrong anyway But I want to talk about what's not my favorite. First. of all. Multi person threads and permissions. So, I might actually just like. Start. "Back in my day we went on peoples profiles and told them 'NT' "(no hate to who said that) yea well back in my day we started threads with ORP and CRP and SRP and when one person replied no one else could join unless explicitly permitted in the parent thread or was given permission by BOTH PEOPLE!! Ex. I asked to join the thread in round three with maroon and the other guy outside Medbay and got perms from both. But with others.. koff koff round four.. I started an open thread. VIOLET replies. Yay! I reply back. KABOOM replies out of character. I reply to them ooc. Now I'm busy so I'm a late responder right tell me why when i find the time to recheck my messages i go into the thread THAT I STARTED mind you, to see it FULL . It's a roleplay between.. the other two people??? Fine. Sure. But I read over it and they were also talking OOC about plans. So naturally I had to make a NT?? because it was full,?? and then Kaboom's like "oh yea violets not unaliving" REALLY?? And ! I didn't get any communication from Violet, who actually said it! Like, if you didn't want to oof you could've said after you knew, "hey I'd appreciate if i didn't die this early" and i would've been like "oh ok thats alright dont reply to my next orp ^^" and all wouldve been okay?? because I . have control over my character?? instead you tell Kaboom (that didnt even ask to join the thread btw) that you have a plan and i have to read that in the full thread and get told by Kaboom himself??? And I have yet to actually hear it from YOU? Speaking of more than two people to a thread, lets talk about MULTIPERSON THREADS! Under the circumstance multiple people do in fact join a thread, there's no regulation. Now, multip threads are healthy. To.. a point "octogon wth are you talking about" go ahead and tell me you enjoy roleplaying with four other people in complete discordance. No reply order, nothing. I hate that, personally. Like, you're gonna tell me that having four other people replying to each other in your thread isn't the slightest bit annoying. Like, example, I don't wanna have someone ask me a question, and then in the time it takes me to reply, someone ELSE answered it and now I have to VOID my response because it's completely wrong now because someone else answered a question that wasn't for them. It like there's like 5 different rps at the same time. And I tried ordering a thread once but it went completely sideways so. Please don't join my threads if someone has already replied and you didn't ask both of us. Specifically, I wanna shout out Oliver. You're great man, but seriously, you joined almost every thread I made or joined. And that's just me. I don't know about other threads you've joined. Listen, trust me, you don't have to join every thread. And, I recommend getting some kind of Rp style because it's a little hard to tell when you're in character or out. Simple things like "quotation marks" when your character talks or putting your ooc text (in parenthesis) would work too. You could also do ((double parenthesis)) or //double slashes// like I do. Unless you're on a phone all of these are pretty easy to do. I'm not mad at you, Oliver, I'm just a little fed up. But I do love your character, and I'm grateful for you too. Thank you, because you're the reason I JOINED Aurpa in the first place! But, yea. I think I missed something. I talked this over with myself over the past day or so for like drafting and stuff which I'm proud to say most of it made the cut (I remembered thank god) I wanted this is just be genuine, first reaction. So this was not actually like, rough drafted nor was it proofread. If I made any mistakes feel free to correct me, and definitely tell me if you know you were a subject in this and want your name removed or added even. Y'all know who you are.
