Avalon sends a grouping of fighters on a dangerous forward recon mission. Upon reaching 76,000 feet, using telescopic lenses they catch sight of a group of Zaku engines. Upon this spotting, the AFGF commander deploys three companies of his Icarus-terminators to the eastern island, along with 4k Marines. The detachment of Marines from the drop pod attack form up in a flank holding position. A call is sent for more walkers but the general refuses to endanger further Armoured units in case fighting breaks out. Titans fire Arial warning shots at any reconning fighters, forcing them to return to their carriers.
