(Space to see next slide) hewo... this is my Labrador Retriever, Trinity. She passed away back in 2024 and I've never had a pet after her. She was almost 13 when we had to put her down sadly ❤️ I'll put the story in notes and credits :)
well... Trinity was getting old, but she never had any problems. She was very gentle and kind dog. But... sometime in the beginning of 2024, she started having difficulties going down the stairs and even walking. and eventually, she couldn't walk at all. and it was hurting my mom cause she had to full on carry Trinity (who was around 50ish pounds)! My older sister (who is a dog breeder) brought her to the vet and they said something was wrong (I don't remember what they said lol). a few days later, on March 31st, my older sister took her to the vet AGAIN! she... she came back with the news that... we have to options. either let her suffer through the pain just to have a little more time with her. or, put her down tomorrow... we chose to put her down. I was sad but I didn't really know what was coming, I didn't feel genuinely sad. Then the next day, April 1st, 2024, my older sisters (the ones who originally convinced my mom to adopt her) came with the car to bring her to the vet :( they put her in the car and I was sad, but still not genuinely sad. then, the moment they pulled out of the driveway, it hit me that I was never gonna see her again. after that, I bawled my eyes out crying into my mom's hoodie... so yea. that's why I like dogs. cuase I want a puppy. after Trinity died, I had no one to coo (hehe) and tell anything too... I felt bored and lonely. We go on a lot of trips, and they don't want to have to ask the family to watch it. cuase it would be my full responsibility 2. VERY EXPENSIVE! 3. We have a very full schedule in the school year but we're VERY free in the summer (Sunday - Church. Monday - 10 to 2 school day. Tuesday - 1 school meeting. Wednesday - 2 school meetings & church night. Thursday - Finish School stuff. every other Friday - COOP. Saturday - finish school if not done already) 4. Ig they don't trust me to be responsible
