[This DRP will contain blood & death, and possibly more. If you are uncomfortable with any of these topics, I suggest you click off.] Today was supposed to be a good day. Supposed to. But where did everything go wrong? Widowwatcher was just a regular warrior in MossClan, of course. She wasn't one of the typical warriors, however. Preferring to take care of the kits, maybe even heal... None of those things that someone would do. But she chose this life for herself. /It was to protect the Clan./ Today was the beginning of Leafbare, and Widow was sure he had gathered enough herbs for the medics to last them until the end of the snowy season. He knew how the cold felt, and even though his fluff was long enough to withstand the snow, he understood that others may not have the same treatment as him. Widow did vow to protect the Clan before Delphine left, and they're not going to give it up now. They've met a lot of friends along the way, including Fishmothfrolic, Fireflyfortune, and a new friend by the name of Houndsun. Everything was going great for the warrior. /It was to protect the kits./ Today wasn't a good day, however. Wolves decided to attack MossClan's camp, the freezing temperatures making them exit their dens and see enemy cats who were willing to fight. And even though Widowwatcher wasn't the type to fight, it was the first time she used her claws on an enemy. /It was to protect my friends./ And it was to protect himself. Even if he didn't want to. He brought Haven along, the sheep willing to fight as well. And together, a two-versus-one made it seem like it was impossible for the wolf to win. But oh, how wrong he was to assume that. The wolf had decided to attack Haven first, because they were natural prey-and-predator. But Haven was no prey, they wanted to fight back, so using their horns, they slashed a scar onto the wolf's face. It attacked back harder, with a bite to the sheep's muzzle, trying to lock them in place. Of course, Widow wasn't going to stand around there and let the wolf do their thing. Haven had been with her since she was just an apprentice, so their bond together was strong, and so they leaped, knocking the wolf down and making sure it released their grip, only to be met with a slash towards her muzzle. Fine, two could play that game. Widowwatcher bit and slashed, but it was clear his attacks weren't phasing the wolf whatsoever, as the attacks towards him and Haven got harsher, blood slowly dripping down from the scars, but they still had the chance to fight. And he's already done so much. Widow couldn't give up. It was to protect the Clan. It was to protect the kits. It was to protect her friends. That's what motivated Widowwatcher as they tried to keep attacking, even as Haven finally died, collapsing into the ground, they couldn't afford to get distracted. Soon, she was the one to join Haven. A flop to the ground, grass shifting a little. Widowwatcher joined the stars.
RIP Widowwatcher <3 I loved roleplaying with you It's so ironic that I avoided rolling for anything that included death, but the moment I decided to throw Widow to a safety fail wolf, he actually died. Welp, if MossClan survives the safety fail, I'll probably stay in there for my next character, otherwise, I'll be going to UrchinClan and hoping for the best But for now, I'll let time tell its tale.
